Good catch. Sometimes it says "canning", sometimes it says "packaging", and I've noticed that in the past, if it's a "packaging run" there tends to be a bottle.

Gotta stop showing your hand, Tree House, and start saying "packaging" all the time!

I think the biggest take away is that they are actually telling us what hops are in it.

 

Given past releases of this quality and amount on Thursdays, will the beer be sold out if I got there around 7 PM?

 

JM is worth the trek if you missed it's last drop.My favorite DIPA.

 

500 cases/6 pp = 2000 people = 5 hours. It should last until tomorrow.

 

KJ was on a Friday, same number of cases and limit pp and it did not sell out.

KJ is arguably more popular because it is more widely known and higher rated. At least, that's what I would've thought until they released JM for the first time and it was an absolute madhouse. Surprised so many people showed up for that one since its only appearance before that was at EBF a couple years ago.

It's entirely possible that JM could be more popular when you compare the first releases of JM and KJ (both were within a month or so of each other). Hard to tell which has become more "legend" at this point. We shall see soon enough!

If I recall correctly, JM sold out last December on the first day, although that was the week between Christmas and New Year's, so a lot of people were out. I would bet a decent sum at even money on a sellout today.

 

Besides the holiday, I believe it was also released on a day with extended hours rather than only available over the standard 5-8.

 

I'll take that bet. They would either have to extend their hours from 3 to 5 hours or increase their processing from 400 people an hour to 700 people per hour in order to sell out.

 

Yep. Schuduled opening of 2 that day, but they were open earlier than that. I still think JM sells out today, seeing as they opened at 3.

I was super lucky to have been at the first release of Juice Machine. They announced it while I was in line. I've had almost every Tree House IPA and I can confidently state that Juice Machine is the best I've ever had. Probably the best IPA I've ever had. I'm bringing out my big guns to trade for this one.

 

5 minutes in and out, but staff is definitely prepping for it to pick up in a hurry.

 

Doors were open at 3. Very possible they sell out or get very close to today.

 

I miss Lights On.

Hoping it gets brewed in the near future.
