With them opening earlier and earlier gets harder to have beer until close.

Doors opened before noon with a line of 75 people. I have a hard time believing it makes it until 4:15.

Biproduct of the parking situation. Maybe it would help if they had a closed lot until 1 hour before a la The Alchemist.

75 people is nothing, I got there recently around noon and the line was closer to 300....with summer vacation being over, I don't think they'll sell out

How early have they been opening on Wednesdays? Have they been opening early on Thursdays too?

Summer crowds are gone! Showed up at 1 pm to 10 people in line. Thank god! Literally in and out.

Is it really this simple? Is this the reason it's been absolutely insane up there lately? Or have people finally realized that Tree House brews these beers all the damn time and that it's not necessary to wait in line for hours upon hours to get staple brews.

To be fair though, the only people who are waiting for hours and hours are the people that show up before they open. You could go up an hour after they open some days and have no wait at all. I never understood the people who will line up at 10am on a Wednesday. Usually you can stroll in at around 1:30 or 2:00 and wait 30 minutes tops.

The last time I went I was on vacation and went there in the morning. I didn't have anywhere to be in the AM, but I had a flight to catch in Albany at 5. So I got there at 10:45 and was in my car by noon. Yeah, I had to spend 1:15 in line instead of 20-30 minutes, but leaving at noon instead of 12:30 mattered for catching my flight. The guys behind me were on a beer-cation and wanted to get up to Vermont sooner rather than later. Ahead of me was a retired couple who drove in from the east side of the state for the first time - they wanted to eat at BT's afterward and it was better to save that 20-30 minutes.

I guarantee you could say the same thing at Alchemist in Stowe - people don't mind waiting in line in the morning to get out earlier.

Point is - a lot of the people aren't local, and that time at 10:45 is not nearly as valuable as the time from 12-12:30.

Left about 30 minutes ago and I was in and out in 2 minutes everyone was shocked at the lack of line when I was getting back in the car

Arrived at 1:10, was in my car at 1:15 with cans. The greatest treehouse buying experience to date! Now I'm just hoping I experience the delicious batch of alter everyone had the prior canning!

Exactly this. I go into work at 2pm on Wednesday back in CT, so getting there a little early before they open is really my only option.

Would annoy the hell out of the neighbors. I'm sure. When I left on Friday that place was a zoo. The line didn't look bad so the pictures on twitter don't do it justice but the street was a parking lot.

I don't get the point of getting there early on Wednesday. I've never really waited in line showing up 3-3:30. Its not like you're getting a jump on the growler fills. Seems like a waste of time to me.

Couldn't agree more unless you have to get there early so you're out quick it's better to go around 2 then your in and out

People might have to be somewhere at 1230-1 o'clock. On Thursday/Friday I usually get there at like 3-ish so I can be out of Monson as early as possible and back in Boston for dinner.

Anyone else go today and get cans dated 9/1/16? Got a couple "It's 'FRONK-en-steen!'" cans today when I showed up late this evening! One of them even has the new stamp over the old one. Haha.
