In issue #80 of BA magazine, in the Tree House Brewing update on page 10, you state that under the "bylaw", which I assume you mean local bylaw, that a residential-agricultural zoned property must be at least 5 acres and produce crops netting $1,000 per acre. I have read the Brimfield zoning by laws several times and can find no reference to either of these requirements. The Brimfield bylaw does state that the minimum lot size is 65,340 square feet.

I don't really know exactly what you're talking about, but they're moving about 3 miles down the road into more of a non residential area. They'll be fine, the lawsuit will be settled, but Tree House is moving down the road.

BTW this will probably be moved to the New England forum.

I agree that since they are moving they will be fine.

If you take the time to read the sources I referenced, you will see what I am talking about. The is about an article published I the magazine that appears to contain inaccurate information. I may very well be wrong, just thought I would inquire. If you want to put it in the New England forum fine by me.

Just ask that cranky old asshole that lives in Brimfield. He seems to spend every waking hour reading the bylaws and codes of Brimfield so that he can tell people how to live their lives and run their businesses.

That was an error on our part; we meant to say that those regulations were being cited by the opposition, rather than that they are in fact part of the bylaws. We apologize for the mistake.
