Tree House Brewing (July 2015)

How fast are can sales? Thinking about going today. Is it necessary to arrive 1hr or more before 5pm? Is it a separate line? Debating if its worth 6 cans of Green. Thoughts?

 

If you arrive an hour before you might as well get growlers. No point in showing up that early just for cans unless you really want eureaka or TWSS cans which will sell out early. If you show up a little after open, maybe 5:30 or later there will be hardly any wait for cans. If you show up right at 5, probabably somewhere around a half hour wait depending on how busy it is. There is one line before open. I would say get your cans, and stick around for growler fills.

 

Thanks for info. Gonna leave Worcester area around 3. Just because I get out of work at that time. Growler fills always expect 1hr wait or more?

 

From Worcester you are only about 45 mins away and if you get to TH pre 4pm you should be near the front of the line. Lately they have been passing out the cards for fills prior to 5pm. Some days they will even collect bottles pre-open. Being that early though, but the time you get through the can line your growlers will be getting filled if not already on the bar awaiting pickup. Cheers.

Damn. First trip there next week. Looks like I am missing all the hoppy goodness. Hopefully, Green and Haze stay on for growlers until next Thursday.

 

So excited about Haze, hopefully Haze and Green last until tomorrow evening.

Another big day at TH! Hopefully I can sneak up after dinner.

 

I would expect this to be the norm going forward (2 or more can options on any given day). I expect it to level out traffic for all but the craziest of days

 

Train to Munson?

 

I heard the line was crazy big so they had to open early. Any update on the turnout?

 

They opened the doors around 4:45. I would guess there was more than 120 people in line by then. That place is a well oiled machine, it is amazing how fast they can get people through the line.

 

Just left. Didn't seem bigger than usual but they did open early. They also had first 25 orders prefilled so they have growlers moving. They also gave a thank you to everyone there for no parking issues today.
