Is Lights On just Lights Out brewed on the new system? Had LO during the Super Bowl and it was fantastic.

slightly different hop profile I believe...but I think the grain bill is the same?

    Two different beers.

Lights On - "A modern American Pale Ale brewed to celebrate a new beginning here at Tree House! Lights On pours a gorgeous hazy orange in the glass, releasing an aroma filled with a bounty of sweet fresh fruit. We taste papaya, guava, and mango - a fresh and distinctive flavor profile that’s wholly Tree House. Buoyed by a soft and fluffy mouthfeel, Lights On is a delight to drink."

Lights Out - "Lights Out is exceedingly well hopped at all stages of the brewing process, yet still balanced and delicate on the palate. The prevailing flavor is tangerine - even lingering pleasantly in the finish - with heaps of pungent grapefruit and citrus rind contributing to the complexity of this little delight. We find lights out to be an absolute joy to drink, and hope you do too."

I arrived last Friday at 3:15 and was 21st in line. Had heard that some people started showing up around 2. They did have cans of Green and Julius so that probably played a part, along with 7 beers on tap. Then again, it's the holiday this weekend, so I assume there would be a similat amount of crowds.

Nates reply from the april thread...

so what's the real difference between the two beers?

Lights Out is Citra/Amarillo/Warrior... Lights On is Mosaic/Amarillo/Warrior. Different process schedule & grist composition for each to accentuate what we know about each particular hop/hop combination. Lights Out intended to be a bit drier and more citric, Lights On intended to be a touch chewier with sweet tropical fruit notes.

Guess they'll just have to sell the beer by the keg now ;-)

First trip today. Minor suggestion would be to remove beers from the On Tap page when they are as low as Julius was (i.e., only 1st two people got it, 3rd got partial fill). Even if not possible to do this maybe be a bit more accommodating when situations like this pop up.

Maybe flexible is better than accommodating. The broader context is also that they told us approximately the first 20 people can get their Julius limit. Then came back out with news that only 2 got it. Girl kind of gave me hard time for then updating my original order. Just did not unfold well and would have appreciated some recognition of that.

it's still unclear what they could have done to be more accommodating/flexible for you.

It is clear you came from farther away than some/most and were probably disappointed and frustrated. Maybe some of that came out in your interaction? I didnt see it.

I was back around 40th in line. shortly before doors opened, Dean came out and asked jokingly "nobody beat <the girl> up back here did they?" Not sure if that had anything directly to do with your exchange but it sounded like some gave her a hard time. It wasnt her fault.

You did get some Green, though, right? Cans too, right? Both of those are just awesome, awesome beers. Lights on is every bit as juicy as Julius, just a little lighter in ABV. I'd even give a nod to Green as being better than Julius

Forget it, knew it was a mistake to even post it. Had crazy thought that a little constructive feedback may help.

Got to say my buddy hooked me up with a couple of glasses of Fuzzy Baby Ducks last night and I was pretty impressed until I cracked a can of Green shortly after...That's got to be one of my favorite beers around.

They posted very clearly that vet little remained. It's pretty difficult to gauge exactly how much beer is left in a keg just by picking it up. I understand this is what they do, but still it's not an exact science. They do their best. In sure you left with pleanty of beer to share with friends this holiday.

I arrived just after 8:00 in hopes of getting growlers but to be told they weren't taking tickets (understandable) I was then directed to the cans which I gladly purchased and left with my goods. Treehouse is always very accommodating. People just think they are entitled sometimes they fell of they don't get Julius every time they are there that the brewery failed them. They make great beer. Everything is great. Everyone just needs to relax. Take a step back and look at the big picture here

Just noticed that they have Green as **LESS THAN 1 bbl remains**. Have they always listed the volumes or is this new?

This is nice since one can roughly estimate what their chances of getting it are. For example, it seems to me that your chances are slim if you're not the first 50 people.
