Was originally heading to VT today to get some Heady but given the crappy weather opting to just head down the road and get my Julius fix. Never been on a Thursday (and a rainy one at that) but figuring on getting there between 4:15 and 4:30. (looking forward to trying some 'Ma' as well.)

 

Thanks, yeah it worked out great. Got some of all three that they had on (Thursday) and maxed out the 5 bottle limit. It was mercifully quiet for a Thursday so I was in and out quickly and now I'm set for a couple of weeks.

I'm curious to know if anyone else feels like this latest batch of Julius is a little more bitter than normal. Or, is my palate just being all palate-y on me.

 

Heading up to Treehouse tomorrow and I can't wait! So excited to finally try Julius. About how long is the growler fill line on a Saturday afternoon? Gonna have the girlfriend in tow so I just want to see if I need to butter her up before we stand in line for an hour to buy some "heady beers"

 

per @jomobono from page 1 of the thread: "Between morning and 1-2PM is when most people come on Saturday, can't guarantee anything under an hour that time, could be less, could be more. Going later in the afternoon you sometimes get less people but then you take the risk of some beers kicking."

 

Both are superb; I would have to base it on my mood, personally . Crazy juicy flavors in C9, really complex variety of stuff going on with the Mosaic in there, but there was something so crisp, refreshing and dry about C7.

 

This batch of Ma is delicious.

 

Is there any chance Julius makes it through Saturday? or should I not get my hopes up

 

Can't make any guarantees because don't know how many people are coming tonight and tomorrow

 

gotcha. Well if anyone local would be interested in some Peekskill or Captain Lawrence growlers in exchange for some Julius hit me up! I will be your area tomorrow all day, won't get to Treehouse until around 3 but will also be in Northampton after that.

 

Oh I thought you meant will there still be some left for Thursday, it was chill last night so there should still be some by three, but again can't make any guarantees never know what the crowds are going to be tomorrow. keep an eye on their Twitter feed tomorrow for updates

Any inclination on how long Julius will last tomorrow?

 

Any word on crowd size or quantities of beer left thinking of making the hour long drive and getting there around 4 but last time i did that on a sat the beer was all gone and i don't want that happen again .

 

No lines right now, Ma and Julius on. We think Julius will hold but can't make any promises.

 

Big crowd today but as always the staff did a great job. Looking forward to some Julius in a bit!

 

C9 was outstanding, all mango and guava and grapefruit. Just monstrously tasty.

 

I'll be in the Boston area Saturday and I plan on making my first trip to Tree House. I want to do the Jack's Abby brewery tour at 1:00 so what I would like to know is would I be better off hitting Tree House before JA, when they open at 11:00, or head to Tree House after the JA tour, which would have me arriving at Tree House around 2:30?
