Trench Day 2015

    We at Due South Brewing Co. are happy to announce January 31, 2015 as Trench Day. This will mark the return of our Mariana Trench Imperial Stout both on draft and in limited bottles. This year we will be going in way of a mini beer fest for the release. Along with a solid lineup of our own beers we will feature beers from other breweries from all over the state.

    This will be a ticketed event with sales beginning on January 2nd. Tickets will be required for entrance and that includes unlimited sampling of all the beers on tap, a commemorative tasting glass and the right to purchase bottles of Mariana Trench Imperial Stout. Tickets will be limited to 300 people.

    In the next couple days we'll release the pricing, time, bottle limits, etc.

    Then we will start announcing the tap list. I can already confirm specialty releases from the following guest breweries:

    Cigar City Brewing
    Copper Top Brewing
    Devour Brewing
    Green Bench Brewing
    Green Room Brewing
    Funky Buddha Brewery

    Tickets for Trench Day (January 31st from 3pm until 6pm) will be going on sale January 2nd at 12 pm. They are $30 and include admission, a commemorative tasting glass, unlimited samples of beers and the right to purchase up to 2 bottles of Mariana Trench Imperial Stout. Bottles will be be $15.

    I'll update either tomorrow or Friday morning with the link to purchase tickets.

    For $30 this is a steal. I've got my ticket. If you haven't already you really should get yours. This will be an outstanding opportunity to try some great Due South brews as well as sample some brews from all over FL. A can't miss event. Can't wait!!

    It is currently on tap now. From the looks of their social media and site, they will continue to make this one. They were hand cutting peppers yesterday for another batch.

    @MikeMoriendi any idea of when Due South cans will make it a bit north to the Sarasota/Bradenton area. Really looking forward to having some of your beers available in cans. especial Cat 5!

    Glad you enjoy our stuff. We are just about maxed out on our current system and current distribution foot print. We are anticipating an upgrade to our brewing system in the summer and hopefully after that we can make our way over to the west coast with distribution.

    If I were still down in Florida, I would be at this one for sure.

    Gotta say, @MikeMoriendi , I was down last weekend, made a stop by Due South, and enjoyed a Mexican Standoff. For my money, and of course IMO, it is better than a similar beer from my area that everyone fawns over themselves for (MexiCake). Standoff had some serious burn, the one I had, and I enjoyed every bit of it.

    Tickets are officially SOLD OUT as of this morning. Thanks to everyone that bought one. We will have the entire tap list announced next week during South Florida Beer Week.
