I wish this would happen someday heck I’d take 12 oz of the higher abv stuff. 500 ml is still too much for me personally.

Yeah and a 750 for three pours. It says so right on the Belgian chalices that have a mark at 250 :hugging:

    I'll drink to that! :beers:

Some Hoppin' Frog stuff recently started showing up here, and I was happy to see some of these big-ass stouts in 8.45-ounce (240 ml) cans. Anything bigger than that would have been a hard pass for me.

Not for me, no, smaller bottle/higher price gets my Irish up.

$5.49 for a single can. That's significantly less expensive per ounce than BOMB. :stuck_out_tongue:

Along with some Scots, Brits, touch of French and healthy dose of American Cherokee. So, yeah, I'm a mutt but a proud mutt.

It's not a huge trend around me. Chuckanut puts out a lot of 500s, but they're a lager brewery, so a 16oz bottle of Kolsch is an easy quaff. A couple others have started to put some limited stuff into the 16.9oz format, but the price has generally remained the same, per oz, as before.

The 12oz format, whether bottle or can, remains preferred and perfect.

16oz cans and 22oz bottles can suck it.

also if you're a nano and can't afford a $40,000 minimum canning line and don't like the O2 pickup in your crowler but want to package for beer stores--it's cheaper for a good (or better than the crowler seamer, anyway) quality bottling line, you don't have to commit to a shit-ton of empty cans, and it may be easier to get your product into the singles cooler door of all the harassed-daily-by-desperate-distributor-and-brewery-sales-reps package stores, than in the 6pack and 4pack cooler doors.

It's also annoying, in these pre-order/curbside pickup days, when a brewery has multiple bottled beers available for purchase and they're all different sizes. I recently ordered three bottles from a brewery and got a 750, a 500, and a 375. All were about the same price; I'd assumed all would be 750s. Pretty disappointing.
