In academia there is a saying "publish or perish". Translated to brewery speak... stay relevant as the market is getting more and more competitive with just too many exceptional options available. I trust we may start seeing more and more of this.

I have lived in the Triangle area for years and have never tried any of their beers. Their cans don't really stand out on the shelf, which may be part of the reason.

Innovate or die. @mcd432 hit the nail on the head. I didn't even know what they brewed outside of their core beers until I looked at their website the other day. Honestly, I don't really recall seeing much of their beers on taps around the area, outside of Habanero Pale Ale.

They had a small tap room for a while near Fishmonger's (which I just found out went under too). I had some fun at that tap room. I'll miss Fishmonger's more doe - had some great oysters there!

I'm convinced there is going to be more of these type stories because there are many sub par breweries putting out bad beer that are not going to be able to make it in this hyper-competitive market
