This is what someone that works at Portsmouth told me.

My cuz from the Navy Yard stopped in thinking it was open the other day. Brewer politely told him they weren't open yet but he did say in a few weeks beer should be good to go. The brewing facility was in good order but still lots of work to be done in the retail/tasting room.

Bummer. I'm going there this weekend. Sucks they're not open yet. Oh well, next time I guess.

There was a short Q&A with him after the screening of "Beer Hunter" at the SNOB Film Festival in Concord, NH back in November and IIRC he said he still has some KtG stored in barrels. Not sure which year though. Hopefully that'll will be incorporated in the beer somehow!

mystery unnamed beers. total crap. I'm looking to make a drive this weekend(not Vermont) and buy some beers from the source. Surprisingly I haven't finalized plans. Have a few emails out.

Glad I asked there, I thought they would make us wait in vain

I stopped by this afternoon and was very impressed. They did a great job with the exterior and interior design. Must have been 30 people in there, and there was plenty of room to sit and/or roam. Tons of parking too. The pale ale is really good. Kinda reminded me of Edward. Regardless, it's better than any pale ale I remember Tod brewing at P-brew, and he did great work there.

I thought the prices were fair: $4 for a 12 oz. pour (I thinker tasters are $1.50), and a 32 oz. growler was $12 ($8 refills). Can't remember the cost of a 64 oz. growler, but I think it was $20 ($14 refill), but don't quote me on that. EDIT: $18/$12 for a 64 oz. growler.

They said a Brown Ale should go on tomorrow, then Gose next week, with an IPA and a saison close behind. So stoked to see Tod brewing again. He looked so happy and yet so humble, as always. Love that guy. Cheers.

I went in today around 3PM and the place was pretty crowded. As mentioned, it's spacious with lots of seating. I really enjoyed the pale ale-- wish I grabbed a growler to go! Suppose I'll have to make the trip again soon.

I'm enjoying my 32 oz growler while watching the Michigan/Notre Dame game. I was there shortly after noon and then went to Portsmouth after. I was hoping to see the brown ale when I passed back through around 4:00 on the way home, but no luck. I'll be passing through the area again in two weeks so I'll be stopping in to get whatever they have then.

I'm really pleased with this pale ale and I think Tributary will be filling the void left in my life ever since Blue Lobster switched brewers. I'm pretty sure I'll be heading to Kittery at least once a month now that Tributary s up and running.

    Will they fill non-Tributary growlers?

I hope they improve their online presence a bit. The website, such as is, simply links to their Facebook page, which doesn't actually list their complete taplist anywhere I can find. No info on pricing, available growler sizes, etc. I want to head up there, but the info they provide is scant at best. Hopefully this improves.

Can I still get a t-shirt, a tasting glass, and a couple stickers for $100 or did that ship sail when the kickstarter ended?

I've had Hop Harvest and Gose, both great.
Hope to get a growler of the IPA soon.
