yeah all about the consistency this go round for me. And I still hit trillium and grab goodies from time to time, just depends on what else I have kicking around.

I was reminiscing earlier today about how much I used to love fppa, especially mosaic. I probably haven’t purchased it or Congress in over a year at this point. The daily servings and big DIPAs tend to be my preference now, but astringency is a risk as many have noted.

Made it to my bday for Dry January and jumping back in to comment on DDH stillings. It isn't the best batch I have had, but its at least average and a great showcase for Nelson hops. The finish is a bit astringent, which is my main criticism. I forget exactly when it was, but I know it was at least 2 years ago that I had a can of DDH stillings and I remarked to myself that it was the pinnacle of a NEIPA. I have been chasing that dragon ever since. Anyone have a solid recommendation on Nelson hopped beers? I am a big fan of most of the Tree House and Long Live Nelson beers. I have also liked what Monkish has done with Nelson, but don't get those as often.

it looks like there's some of them weirdo PA beer laws in effect here...

    *For Pennsylvania Residents Only:

    • *Total Order Limit (per month): The law states that no PA resident may order more than 192 fl oz. per month. This equates to (3) four-packs of 16 oz. cans. If more than (3) four-packs are added to your order, we will need to issue a refund.
    • *Brand Order Limit (per year): PA also requires that no resident may order more than 96 fl oz. of any single brand per year. This equates to (6) 16oz cans, but because we sell all brands in four-packs, in practice, the limit is (1) four-pack, per brand, per year. Any orders containing multiple four-packs of the same brand will be refunded.

Does brand mean each specific beer created? Or does it mean just trillium as a brand?

Assuming it’s each beer, who in the fucking hell will track this to enforce :joy:

I'll take the PA laws over my RI laws which allow ZERO ounces of beer to be shipped to the state direct from brewers.

someone high up in the ever-elusive PA chain of things must be hoarding beers and trading them off. this isn't doing them justice.

That would be PA bureaucracy, each state largely driven by the influence of Distribution companies, lobby for protection. It seems you and I live in a state with its own nonsense.
    Nothing national here

Equilibrium can ship 2 cases to PA, Threes doesn’t appear to have limits so I’m not sure where this eccentricity originated.

Given how hypercritical the beer scene seems to be of Trillium, not surprised they would be ones to look to follow rules and regulations. Seems Eq and Threes just don’t give an F...

No matter what state you live in there are both old and new laws that make zero sense and typically exist because of someone with influence trying to protect their business. That might not be just an American problem, probably more of a government problem. But this is America and we have stupid laws all over the place
