Half liter bottles. 2 per. Going to assume more than 1 barrel b/c they've already filled logs. Assuming around 150 bottles. I imagine you'll be ok.

I hope so. I'll check their Facebook/Twitter throughout the day. I'd love to grab a bottle or two on the way home

Haven't seen one posted anywhere. I suspect you will have that answer in 3.5 hours.

a bit bizarre they haven't announced prices. either they don't know yet (which would be odd) or...prices will be very high! $8 / 375ml ?

I had more than a few tasters of this (did not serve full pints or tulips) at the release at The Publick House a few weeks back. It's a damn fine beer.

I can't make it down there. Anybody want to pick me up a bottle and I'll generously throw them two bottles of BCBCS?

I also think that 8 dollars per bottle would be extremely fair for price and not very high. Similar barrel aged stouts/porters from similarly sized breweries tend to go for $10 and up for a 375, no?

hrm, I guess $8 might not be 'very high' but keep in mind this was barrel aged for 3 months, not a full year like some other BA aged beers (which increases cost).

I guess Very Angry Beast was $15 for a bomber. trying to think of some other examples.

Whether it's high or not, they just confirmed on Facebook that $8 per is the price, and they have 800 bottles.

right. and by "high" I'm really comparing it to the universe of beers of similar quality, not just small breweries. but small breweries will always be more expensive, so I get that.

$8 seems on the high side for a 12oz bottle. I'm hoping more than 400 people don't show up before I do

I'm all set with $8/375ml. I do need to get down to trillium at some point though for some growler fills though.
