Someone gifted me a 4 pack of Dialed Up and I'd bet it's a good representation of a New England Triple IPA but have to say it was a candied alcohol mess for me. Not generally a fan of Triple IPAs in general but just awful

Odds of DDH Vicinity lasting into the first couple days of next week?

I'd imagine odds are good especially with this release being so close to the last one.

Also, that Firestone collab looks interesting. Surprised it wasn't a wild ale of sorts

I think there is a wild ale also, just takes longer.

Funny. I expected a little more interest in this collab. Zero line at Fenway FWIW.

Firestone Walker is probably viewed as part of the "old boring breweries" by the new generation of craft drinkers. Definitely not going to make the haze train line up. A Parabola-esque collab might have done it

I have yet to see a line in the middle of the day at Fenway. Especially for an IPA release.

I'd say really good. I swung by Fort Point last night to grab some and they had tons of it. Their (to go) hoppy offerings are pretty limited right now, which could swing it either way.

The last thing the craft beer world needs is another collaboration IPA but this FW one sounds intriguing.

So it is representative of style.

I haven't had Dialed Up in a long time, but I loved it the last time I had it (which was about a year ago when it was first brewed). I think I am over the TIPAs though and am going to stop buying them. Had a pour of Gift Receipt on draft last weekend and didn't really like it. It was fine, just too sweet and boozy for my tastes.

Anyone tried this yet? Thinking of swinging by over the weekend but the collabs tend to be hit or miss for me. Just one rating so far and no reviews. Also not sure how long it'll last... seems like every time I figure a beer will stick around for a bit I wind up missing it, but then every time I scramble to get there it turns out the effort was unnecessary.

Had a can last night and it's not bad. Finishes dry compared to the 1/8/20 batch of DDH Vicinity. Switchboard's worth grabbing a can or two along with a couple DDH Vicinity.

Honestly, other than Equilibrium, I cannot think of a brewery who consistently puts out really solid TIPAs.

Lawson's Peril is the best take on the style I can think of. Still not something I'd ever really want much more than a sample of, but the hazed out versions are complete non-starters for me.

    Long Live does.
Armando really knows his way around a triple. They don't have as many as Equilibrium, maybe 10 or so (including collaborations), but the ones I have had are fantastic. The ones I haven't had are supposed to be fantastic. Not a bad one in the bunch from what I can tell.

They only have two. I wouldn't call that "consistent".

Trillium can't touch the Long Live TIPAs. And I'm not a fan of them overall, I pretty much only enjoy the ones at LL.
