    (old) News:

"You guys like cans. A lot.

...we're pumped to announce we're changing the packaging format for all of our hop forward beers (and recently extended to some other styles too) from 750ml / 25.4oz bottles into 16oz cans!

Batch sizes and case counts will go up as we get our legs under us.

Cans will be available at both breweries, but please note we won't be able to split the cases evenly on the same day as packaging for logistical reasons (so fewer cases available in Boston vs Canton on day of packaging). Thanks on behalf of the whole trillium team for your support to help us achieve this incredible milestone."

First two can releases in June (end of the month) were Congress Street and Melcher Street. Cans come in four packs but you can buy individual cans, if you like. Yes, the date is on the bottom.

    Trillium Can Spreadsheet:

@jimmyfausto created this awesomespreadsheet. In his own words:

I've been maintaining a spreadsheet for all Trillium can release information, including sell out times, hours/days available, and other notes. I know availability is a frequent topic here, especially for travelers and newbies, so I've made the google doc viewable by the below link. (Let me know if people have trouble accessing it)

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mmBOt3Bia-mo5gef5A7nENRkFSBx7NCVaSXbH9RYJ78/edit?usp=sharing

All sell out information is from Trillium's social media, unless noted. There have been rare occasions where they didn't post sell out times for a few beers, in which case I guessed the hours.

    New Hours at Canton:

"OUR NEW HOURS RESOLUTION It's a new year! Time for a Team Trillium resolution: make Canton more awesome. We've always felt like party poopers shouting "last call" every Friday night, so starting tomorrow (1/6) Canton will now be open until 10PM on Fridays & Saturdays! And EVERY Sunday from 12PM-5PM! Cheers to more beer, more food trucks, and more fun in 2017."

Please note that LAST CALL is 30 minutes before closing! This applies to Canton site only.

Reminder: Fort Point site does NOT offer any on premises drinking.

Trillium Garden: Now open for the 2018 Season!

    Hours:

    Wed – Fri 2pm– 10pm

    Hi everyone,
I'll be in Boston this weekend and plan to stop and buy some cans,
I noticed on the website that opening hours for Boston differ from what posted here and include Sunday, is that correct?
    Mon - Sat: 11am - 7:30pm
    Sun: 12pm - 5pm

Also, I read on a IG comment that they sell single cans too. Or is just 4-packs/ & bottles?
    Thanks a bunch

    Yeah, the website is correct.

The bottle shop section should be removed from this thread too. They haven't supplied to shops in many months and no longer list them on their website.

Any updates on what breweries are bringing for the field trip? J Wakefield posted on their Instagram story what they’re bringing but I haven’t seen anything else. Also what’s on tap for the Perennial event today?

Just a note for you NE peeps, the Cellarmaker beer is a Trillium & Other Half collaboration called Juice Gymnastics, a 8.7% DIPA with Citra, Centennial, Nelson, Galaxy and Enigma.

I think in their post they're talking about on site sales in SFO. With MA liquor laws I'd be surprised if anyone was able to sell direct to consumer for take away at the event.

Westly was the goods. Oh man. Best in show for sure, and no one was in the line. 10 oz pours. The pourer didn't know what she had. This made the downpours worth everything. I went back for several.

Right, the "Monkish line" was practically wrapped around to the food trucks because nobody was aware you could get any beer from any person serving, not that each brewery had it's own line. I ordered a Westly and a Recency, got back in the "SARA line" and got Monkish while people were still waiting in line for Monkish.

But my tops were definitely Westly, Tiramisu w/coconut, Juice Gymnastics, and Triple Mosaic Daydream. Though I can't say anything I had was less than great. Good times...

    This was a great festival.

Westly, Recency Effect, and Cellarmen were all amazing. Monkish was good, but don’t think I will be hunting down there beer any time soon. Too many good local options. The biggest surprise for me was Fayston maple with cherries. Didn’t think I would enjoy it, but I did. There was also 0 line all day for Pirate Paradise.

Headroom did not make an appearance yesterday.

Overall, I thought it was a really good event. The one big letdown was that a number of beers didn't make it to session 2, namely the Omnipollo 3 Sons Pancake, Monkish Strawberry Space Cookie, and J Wakefield BA Kitty Kitty. Highlights for me were the Monkish Water Balloon Fight Club, SARA Westley, and Cellarmaker Juice Gymnastics. The Trillium Guava DDH Sleeper was straight juice. Biggest disappointment for me was the Fayston Maple Imp Stout w/Cherry - really thin and lacking any hint of cherry.

Kind of a shame they got spotlighted on a Monday after a festival when drinkers were burnt out. Cellarmaker does some really good stuff and deserved a bigger crowd. DDH Dobis is a revelation at 5%. Talked to Tim and Kelly for a bit and they're awfully nice people as well.

Hopefully they brewed something in Canton.
