Anyone already have Speed Dial? Interested to hear people's take on it.

I liked Speed Dial. Very smooth, soft. The booze was very well hidden. Loved the Nelson but I thought the Sauvignon juice was a little gimmicky. Too sweet and cloying. I could have done without it.

Canton was super smooth tonight. Spent 3x more than I wanted.

Artaic was 60 as well right? I know DDHCS is not a hype train. But still a solid beer and it's not a regular release, correct? Or am I wrong?

I've noticed some labels say Brewed in Boston and some say Brewed in Massachusetts (the Scaled I'm drinking right now say Mass, and the most recent Fort Point I bought did as well).

Does anyone know if this is a way to differentiate between the beers brewed in Fort Point and Canton (or if they are working through old labels and someday they'll all say brewed in Massachusetts)?

At one point, I thought I had read that the original core beers would only be brewed in Fort Point but have no idea if that is/was accurate.

I believe it's the opposite; the Fort Point brewery will be used mainly for one-offs and experimental brews (e.g. Speed Dial), and some of the wild/sour stuff.

Speed Dial is delicious. Creamy mouthfeel with a ton of white wine and peach. I think it finished pretty dry as well. Line today was at the dock by 3:45. Growlers took a bit, but bottles only was in and out.

Most of the recent IPA batches have been in Canton (30 barrel brewing -> usually 60 barrel batches), although I was told that the last batch of Congress was a Fort Point batch (10 barrel brewing, 20 barrel batch).

So far all of the beers I know were brewed in Canton have had "brewed in massachusetts" labels, and my Congress bottle has a "brewed in Boston" label. I am not sure if it's a distinguisher and it will stay that way, or if it's just the way it's working out with label stock. someone should ask on twitter.

I get the sense that they're trying to make sure all beers are available at both locations regardless of where they're brewed - for example, the three most recent offerings - Double Dry Hopped Congress Street, Wild Sinister Kid, and Speed Dial are available at both locations based on their website. Also, without scrutinizing it too much, it seems as though both lists are exactly the same. From a market reach perspective, this strategy would seem to make sense in that they are able to reach both the north and south of Boston demographics with some level of parity of offerings. What doesn't make as much sense to me is that they must be lugging lots of beer back and forth assuming they're not duplicating batches at each location - anybody have any perspective on this?

DDH Congress Street was delicious. Best Trillium beer I've ever had. Also, I am not a stout fan by any means, but after my sample at Canton of Secret Stairs, I had to pickup a growler. These guys are knocking it out of the park. Best part was that I got there at 6:15 the first day the DDH Congress dropped and I was out with 9 growlers and some bottles post-samples by 6:32. It shouldn't be this easy to get world class brews but I'm thankful.

Is this batch of DDH Congress a prank? A joke? It has to be the most insanely hopped beer ever. Its teetering on "too hoppy".
