Trillium help in Boston

    I grew up in MA, mother grew up there, Aunts living in Quincy, Scituate,Kingston, etc and spent my fair share of childhood time off school working and hanging around down there. The commute sucks, Route 3 sucks, 3A is not fun and anytime I left the city and had to head south on 93 even at 2 pm on a Saturday you sat in traffic. Same thing getting back. I stand by that comment. But what wouldI know...

    Well I've lived and worked here for the past 30 years and can assure you it all depends on the day and time. Right now at 11 I could breeze in town unless there is an accident. I could breeze down the cape taking RT3. Same deal with your 2pm Saturday comment. Of course 93, RT3 and 128 are all bad, but that doesn't mean it's a parking lot 24/7.

    Ok... but the OP is staying in Hingham, which is definitely closer to Canton than it is to Boston.
