    Good for them. And us!

I wonder how much of an increase in production this represents. Also I really hope this means moving to different packaged options than 750ml bottles.

Congrats to Trillium! Wow, the beer scene is just exploding with Tree House, Jack's Abby, Wormtown, and now Trillium all moving into bigger production facilities this year. All of this is so well deserved and I hope for nothing but the best for all involved.

They said their August acquisition of 2x20bbl tanks was a 45% increase, so they've got about 130bbl of tanks in Fort Point. They say they'll have 6x90bbl in Canton, so you're looking at a 400% increase in capacity. I guess ballpark annual capacity in Ft Point is about 2000bbl/yr?

JC has been quoted saying going from 1500 to 10,000 barrels, so 6x bigger or so.

yep, we made just a little over 1000bbl in 2014 and on track to do ~1500+ out of congress st in 2015 (w/ 8 10bbl and 2 20bbl fermenters). the yield on our hop-forward beers is considerably less than these net volumes. initial capacity would be 10kbbl, as we're going to be pretty deliberate w/ growing in that kind of production volume. we're going to be careful about managing that growth and the self distribution that goes along w/ it, building the team, adding additional equipment, etc. that all likely means significantly less than 10kbbl in 2016 (I think).

Just read this email. So happy for these guys. Great beers, great people and now a larger place for them to do their thing. First Tree House now Trillium, my favorite breweries are making huge moves. Great news all around!

The greater Boston beer scene is blowing up...Night Shift recently moved, Tree House is about to start offering cans/bottles any day now, Jack's Abby is moving/expanding, now this...my VT trips won't even be necessary soon.

To my understanding is that Tree House beers will still stay in western MA with perhaps one or two places in Central MA that will sell the cans. They can't keep up with demand from that part of the state let alone all of the visitors they get and will be getting.

It is great to see the scene start to grown in a very positive way.

Can't wait, it's right near my work, not sure which of the areas near University Station they're going to, there are at least 3 within a 5 minute drive from Univ. Station proper

This is great news as the new brewery is close to my son's house. More trillium for me.

Norton to Canton drive so much easier than driving into city. Plus a parking lot! Its like a dream come true. I did notice all that new development near University Station. Looks like a bunch of retail too.
