Another new brewery starting distribution here. It seems like we having another one every couple weeks. I've been a fan of most of their beers whenever I've gone out to CO and it's always nice to have more sours on the shelves, so I'm quite happy with this one. http://www.trinitybrew.com/ And it looks like Blind Tiger is hosting a launch event tomorrow, although I'll be avoiding that as BT always becomes too overwhelming for beer events.
Red Swingline and Double Swingline are superb beers. NYC folks are again lucky. I've been harassing these guys to distribute to New Mexico for a while now to no avail. Enjoy!
Enjoy. I've got a bunch of their stuff in my cellar I've been sitting on since my last trip to CO. Guess I can drink up now that I'll be able to find them locally.
just nyc or will it make it to other areas in ny? also, is blind tiger on site only or bottles to go?
Will be available outside of the city as far as I know. I'll have a full stack of their brews for sale at my store in Westchester as soon as the truck arrives.
As soon as the truck arrives today? I was curious when we'd start seeing bottles showing up on shelves.
I saw one post of a store outside the city that got theirs in stock. Typically that means all in Westchester county will have it today or tomorrow.
Truck arrived an hour or two ago, It's on my shelves in Westchester so should be out everywhere tomorrow. By shelves I mean counter top, I don't have room for all 13 bottles right now.
Launch events are happening all this week in NYC. Bottles have been delivered, but most stores are staggering releases through the rest of this week. Blind a Tiger - I think - is the only place you can get their new Magical Brett Tour bottles.
I just had the Red Swingline and the Easy Swinger. I enjoyed them both, but the Easy Swinger was very delicious. It would be a great hot weather beer. Refreshing and fruity.
Are there other MBT bottles besides the Drie that were brought to the market? I was able to find bottles of that one elsewhere; would be curious to try some of the others if so. EDIT: Whoops...looks like Bar Great Harry has the Brux version. Cool.
I saw a Golden Sour and a Super Juice on the shelves at Beer Culture. Any idea what a decent price on these would be? I didn't ask and they don't sticker their beer.
Tried a few of their bottle offerings over the past few days, and Chilly Water (BA Baltic Porter) was my favorite thus far. Grabbed it at WF Bowery for those interested. They had a pretty large Trinity selection.
