Agreed. Those are the "processes" DBC and Trinity chose, partly b/c the cost of litigation in such cases is, by itself, enough of a threat. DBC would have lost their ass in litigation--except the C/D came from PBR. An effective tactic (IF that's what exactly happened), if not totally efficient.

Being as uneducated as I am, I still have taste buds...and they long ago decided (I know...dumb ol' me is personifying taste buds) Trinity beers aren't worth buying, let alone at their price point. News of their attitude about a poll regarding local breweries and their 'educated' comments about the local community changes nothing for me other than I'll reward my taste buds for their foresight...by drinking something not from Trinity. #validation #toodumbforgoodbeer #goodluckindenver

News to me that Trinity had these TM disputes going on. Hilarious that a company that has built it's brand by ripping off a popular movie would have the nuggets to accuse another company of TM violations....Also still waiting for my money back for "Damn It Feels Good To Be a Gangster." Echoing the comments that we have plenty of great options to choose from, I will continue to choose other beers than Trinity's.

Elektrick Cukumbahh is the only beer we like from them. We love coffee beers but neither one of us cared for Awaken at all, thin and bland, and we've tried it 3 different times while doing day trips down there.

And their bottle pricing shell game just did it for me altogether. Overpriced, caved to consumer pressure and brought the prices down to something more reasonable (kinda), then when they saw the 375ml bottle trend kick in, decided that was their way to jack the prices back up.
Even though we've never had a problem with their food, their service down there can be spotty. We've always stopped in because really, where else can you get beer and food in one spot? But I'm thinking we'll just get take-out and hit one of the smaller breweries from now on.

I don't know about the whole Twitter thing, I don;t even have an account, but as mentioned, possible calculated "we're proving a point" move? Maybe. It wasn't long ago that they entered a wrong beer into a category then magnanimously gave Silver medal back.
Now either one of these on their own I wouldn't think anything of it. But both? Sounds like a plan by them to let everyone know that they stand on the "moral high ground". But that could just be conspiracy theory stuff. Or is it ....?

What an apology should not look like. Actually, it was more of an explanation than anything else. He didn't mean to call the Springs stupid, just ignorant. Regardless if that's true or not, it wasn't very....diplomatic.

Oh god, just make beer dude. Maybe they should give you a key to the city and throw a parade for that medal you won

Oh wait you had to give it back

I think they're just taking brewing to the next level by establishing themselves as villains. Themes are such a pain in the ass these days - might as well just turn heel and start talking mad shit.
They're on to something. Trinity is about to become the Ted Dibiase of the brewing world.
