I heard they will be doing a new version of this every week or two, can anyone confirm this rumour?

They are doing like 5-6 versions. Saw a list of them somewhere. If I can find it I'll post it

Session Swing came out last Friday, Passion Swing last night, and over the month of August, each Friday night will see the release of a new "variant."

Pricing will be all over the board too. This first one should be $4.99 or so then they will jump to over $10 for a 375ml. One new every week from the distributor (Western Beverage). Six variants, one a week.

Their prices are ridiculous, and have kept me from trying their stuff.

$4.99 for a 375ml bottle of session IPA? lol

$3.99 not $4.99 for the Session Swing and while they are certainly a bit pricier than your average fair, you're getting what you pay for in quality and consistency. Trinity is hands-down the best brewery in the Colorado Springs and Red Swingline, TPS Report, and 7 Day Golden Sour are among the best sours/wilds in the state (including offerings from Crooked Stave, who I also love, but are also just as expensive).

It's $4.99 at multiple places around town. Ridiculous.

375ml = 12.7oz. that's equivalent to a $30/six pack of session IPA. No excuse can be given. Why is it even waxed?

What the hell do their sours have to do with selling a session IPA for $5 a bottle?

$4 not $5... to point that out again see the above image...

Anyhow, the point I am making is that yes, across the board their beers are a bit more expensive, but the time/research/ingredients that go into those beers are the reason why. The Session Swing is still brewed with three hops, coriander, and tangerine zest and then dry hopped, so not your average session IPA.

That's not retail pricing and most of us are seeing retail pricing. We also don't live that close to Colorado Springs.

And no time/research/ingredient is worth 200% markup on a session IPA. ($10 per 6-pack vs. $30 by comparison)

Are these not sour/brett beers like the past Red Swinglines have been? If so, the pricing is fine compared to market.

Sorry if this info is in either article - TL;DR

Session Swing is not a sour/wild and spends no time in barrels. The rest are.

That alone is like comparing apples with oranges.

Truth. All 750ml bottles are on sale right now at the brewery to clear out stock BTW. I had lunch there today, enjoyed a few new beers, and of course got my bottles of Session and Passion Swing. Haters feel free to continue your hate lol
