So I'm on my way to Atlanta for the weekend (unfortunately to attend a family funeral) and was wondering the best local brew options in bottles I should pick up. I'll be in the east Atlanta / Lawrenceville area. My questions are:
    1) what r my chances of picking up a few bottles of Westbrook Citrus Ninja Exchange?
    2) any chance at all I'll be able to get my hands on some Mexican Cake?
    3) what other bottles should I look out for that I can't get in MI?
    4) what r the best bottle shops around/between east Atlanta and Lawrenceville?

    Thanks for any help!
    -nathan

    Sorry for your loss.

Greens on Buford HWY had Citrus Ninja and Gose yesterday. Mexican Cake is long gone.

Beverage Superstore in Suwanee has a decent selection, but nothing like you will find at greens.

    seekabrew suggests the following

    Against the Grain
-I havent had too many of their offerings, but seem to rate well.
    Allagash
    -Cruieux is awesome
    Boulevard
-Love Child #4 is on the shelf at greens
-Hibiscus Gose just came in as well
    Cigar City
-You might find Jai Alai some places. Hit or miss
    Great Divide
    -Yeti and and all
    Lost Abbey
-There are some of the saint's devotion and agave maria bottles at greens

Red Brick, Sweetwater, Terrapin and Monday Night at all local and have many great beers.

    Hope that helps.

And if you are going to be in East Atlanta (which in ATL is a specific neighborhood) and not just east of the city, then Argosys is a great spot for beer selection and good food. I would recommend anything on their menu and they have a solid beer menu.

Argosy for certain, or The Midway. Both great beer bars a block apart in East Atlanta. Bottle shops, Green's on Ponce or Ale Yeah in Decatur are your closest options.
Lawrenceville, the only place I've ever known is Highway 29 Package in Lilburn, decent selection for the area. No bars/pubs that are noteworthy.

    Thanks guys. Appreciate the feedback!

Guess I should've brought some KBS or Black Note with me and traded for some Mexican Cake, eh?

    1. Should have no problem finding Ninja
    2. No more Cake
    3. Straight to Ale just released here, a couple good barrel aged bombers (Illudium/Unobtanium). Also, plenty of fresh Jai Alai around (within 2 weeks of canning)
    4. Greens, Hop City, Sprayberry (Marietta)

Also saw Track 8 at Greens on Ponce yesterday. As well as that Agave tequila one? Forget the name.

Agave Maria. Track #8 indeed there too. Ale Yeah Decatur still has a few CS Ride the Lions as well as Rodenbach Caractere Rouge on shelf as well.

are you here for the Bama WVU game ? Are you hear the UGA game? Or something else.

if you are here for the UGA game you are welcome to come by the my tailgate where I will have all sorts of fun beers.

if you are going to the Bama game then most of the options are in play.

If you are here for another game someone else will have to help you with suggestions. Though your best bet might be ale yeah in roswell or total wine and more in alpharetta.

In Cumming there is a Jax Package (or Jack's) right off 20/400 that's not bad at all. Found a few old gems up there two years ago. Further up 400 towards Dawsonville is another place but I don't recall the name. Beer bars, not much going for you unless you head South to Alpharetta, there's a Taco Mac (not what anyone would want, but they do have beer). Hop Alley is a brewpub in Alpharetta that has good food, a surprisingly good tap and bottle, and decent to not bad beers of their own. Further South in Roswell try the Mellow Mushroom or Roux on Canton for the best beer choices, but again, don't get your hopes up much. Ale Yeah Roswell is right there too for bottles.

A Lawrenceville option is Local Republic. A decent beer list and good food.
