Falmouth is nice. Holiday traffic will be brutal though.

Witness the drawback of posting at work.

...(MA), looking for local places that serve quality brew. Staying near Kappyy's , so should be good for picking-up beer. Thanks in advance for the help.

As if going over the bridges on Friday and Sunday won't be enough, go over for fun on other days!

I will be in N. Falmouth this weekend too (Sea Crest). No great bars with great taps in town that I have seen, but my choice, which is very close to Kappys is the Quahog Republic. It's a "dive bar", but will have a couple of decent taps. Hell you may be able to walk there. Kappys is best for bottles/cans, although there are a couple of decent liquor stores along 28 (Portside is pretty solid, nice guys there it seems).

Flynn's is on the Cape side of the bridge, so no need for extra trips. 42 taps. Cheers.

Which bridge? For Falmouth it should be the Bourne bridge.

When did they open? That is the old Koo or Roo (or something like that - it was a small chain) isn't it? Never went there it, always seemed to be a rowdy college crowd.

Roo was kind of the opposite of that. Really good eclectic food, but always busy. I loved it.

Havent been in the new spot yet, looks decent though.

Or drive an extra 10 minutes for a really good beer selection.

Yea it's the old Roo Bar. The new place is nothing like that.
