Trip to Lawrence, MA

Den Rock Wine & Spirits has been mentioned and I agree they have a great selection and are very close to Lawerence, also mentioned was Andover Liquors another great store just down the street from Lawrence.

I am not exagerating... I grew up in Framingham and there are plenty of bad neighborhoods there. I don't doubt that there is crime in Boston either. I just think Lawrence is a whole different level. And clearly many people on BA agree with me based on some of the posts above.

Don't get me wrong; there are nice parts of Lawrence. It's just that the other 95% ruins it for them. I work in insurance, and a Hugh percentage of claims, relative to policies written, come from there. I too grew up in Framingham, much to my dismay, and I never felt more nervous then driving through Lawrence.

 

The One Stop Center next to The Grille Next Door in Haverhill carries a pretty good beer selection.

 

Andover Liquors, Mcaloons, Wine and beer at the North Andover mall.

 

I got a 4 pack of Heady Topper at the wine and beer shop on 114 at the North Andover mall, Great stuff at mcaloons, and the had 2 bottles of nuclear penguin at DenRock.

 

I dont care for Mcaloons much as the music is always blasting way too loud and the beer has no prices and unorganized not to mention theres alot of old and out of date stuff and direct sunlight on some of the stuff. Agreed on the others though as i mentioned before they both have a solid selection but probably wont wow you or have anything andover or a store like redstone would have.
