Hey guys, Making a trip to Morgantown and wanted to get your go/ no go advice on the breweries there. Looks like Chestnut, Mountain State, and Morgantown are the closest breweries. Let me know your experiences and what to try out!
I've had 3 from Mountain State: Seneca Indian PA, Miners Daughter Oatmeal stout and Cold Trail blond. The pale ale was pretty good and the others were decent. That's all I've had from that part of WV.
Chestnut was becoming eventful before I left. I stay away from Mtn State after giving them a shake on many occasions in many places in WV. Apothecary is a good place for a pint.
Graduated from there. Hit up black bear for some good burritos and rusted musket for amazing late night food. Mountain state is cool. Pretty good food too
