I don't think you can expect any bottle distro from them anytime in the near future. I think the most to hope for is that growlers one day will be sold from regular growler locations.

Also forgot to mention the new hoppy pale is on, Nuggyy Num Num, and it is super tight, bright citrus and herb hop goodness.

32 oz. swing top growlers are available at DeCicco's. Can't tell you how much they go for though.

Just made my first trip Friday. Had a flight of Eastern Standard, Amazeballs, Simple Sour, and Moscow on the Hudson...as well as some Nuggy Num Num. All super solid! Amazeballs may just be my new favorite Pale Ale beating out HF Edward. Eastern Standard reminded me of Sculpin and Flower Power...very tasty! I wish I didn't live 5 hours away.

I am going to be in Peekskill in a few week during the day. What hours do they fill growlers? I know they are open for lunch but do they fill growlers then?

If tap room is not open they will fill on second floor.

Anyone know if Amazeballs is still on? I may be up there tomorrow. Nuggy Num Num sounds goooood.

Right, but the second floor is not pressure filled I believe.

Right, exactly. I will be there tomorrow between 1 and 4, if you want to have a beer let me know.

Also, their beer menus lists Amazeballs. One trick I use is to look on Untapped to see what people are drinking night before and will give you a clue if that beer is on or not.

I love that Untappd trick. It's also a great way to see what bars in an area you're visiting might be worth visiting... without having to google or ask for recommendations.

Great day today. Train ride from city is beautiful.

We had whole lineup today, great stuff. First time for my friend, he LOVED Amazeballs. First time I had Moscow on Hudson and Crack of Dawn, both were excellent.

great bartender, great atmosphere, this place is a gem, we are lucky to have it.

Just a bit farther north, and near to the Poughkeepsie station, is Mill House Brewing, where my friends are the brewers and make some incredibly delicious beers. Also the food is stellar. Not to say that PB doesn't now have excellent food, they do, but Mill House is on a whole different level of excellence. Would be an easy and great idea to fit both PB and Mill House into a day of gustatory enjoyment.

Anyone going to the Peekskill tap takeover at One Mile House on December 17th?

I'll be heading up to the Brewery for their "Valley to Valley" Beer Dinner on Tuesday night. Chief's got 3 awesome beers to compliment Anderson Valley's 3 great offerings, including Moscow on the Hudson. Food pairing menu looks sick too!!

Any idea if Peekskill will fill the 32-oz "jug" growlers (that use the same size caps as the standard 64-oz growlers) via counter-pressure?

No, they will only fill the 64 oz growlers with the machine. The 32 oz they will fill from tap through tube. How long do you plan on waiting before drinking it? If not a long time it shouldn't matter that it wasn't filled through the machine. Last time I got two 32 oouncers filled and wait 3 or 4 days, they tasted fine, even with a lot of dead air at top of bottle.
