Taking a trip to the Portland area for about 10 days in late September. Will be in Portland for three days, Cannon Beach for three days, and Hood River for three days during the Hood River Hop Fest. Trying to get info on breweries and brew pubs I don't need to miss during our trip to Oregon. Any input will be much appreciated
You'll want to review this updated/indispensable post re: visiting Portland. (Edit: I see 2 others beat me to it... ) That pretty well covers Portland visits... Make a point to visit Logsdon, Solera and pFriem when you're around Hood River (also Everybody's and/or Walking Man across the river in WA). Venture up to Astoria (Fort George and Astoria/Wet Dog ... also try Bowpicker for some tasty albacore fish & chips!) on your days in Cannon Beach, besides visiting Bill's (beer are just OK, but a very "local" feel after tourist season) and the "Screw & Brew" while in CB. Thanks for all the input. I'll make it a point to look for the MSU shirt. Pretty good chance ill have a Hogs shirt. both of those shirts should stick out pretty good in northwest Oregon!
