Trip to Scotland

    I'll be in Inverness, Fort Augustus, Oban, Islay, Glasgow, Stirling (visiting Harviestoun).

    Any recommended beer destinations?

    Edinburgh is the place you have to be if you really want to experience the best beery things in Scotland.

    You got it. Sometimes I have to remind myself how lucky I am to be only about a 20 minute train ride to Haymarket and Waverley Station.

    Love The Halt. But no love for The Bon Accord? Or Inn Deep? Both are worth a visit especially the former.

    visited brel bar in Glasgow on ashton in the west end. very nice beer selection including cantillon, odell and of course proper pints. also had a uk beer called kipling that featured the nelson sauvin hop. excellent.

    I don't have any beer recommendations, but when your in Islay try to visit Bruichladdich... that is if you like scotch..................
