From Florida... and I prefer sours (maybe a couple stouts), something that I can transport and store. First, where is a must see in town for pub/brewpub. Second, what is in stores/brewpub shops that I can bring back with me? Any help is appreciated.
The only "sour" out right now is Uinta's Birthday Suit (Berlinerweisse). Wasatch has a seasonal Pumpkin Stout called Black o' Lantern & Epic has a collaborative pumpkin porter with DC Brau. Year round stout? Uinta's Labyrinth & RedRock's Drioma. RedRock Brewing is less than a block from Squatters. That's a good one two punch. Uinta has a nice little bottleshop with pretty much all of their current releases. It'll be a better option for you than a liquor store. If your into lagers, Bohemian Brewing makes only "old world lagers". Some pretty unique stuff. If you want a wide range of beers from around the state/region the Bayou, Beerhive & Beer Bar are a good "one stop shop" as far as craft beer bars are concerned. Cheers.
