We'll be coming to St. Louis in late September. What are the best bottle shops to hit in the area? My wife has a work conference there for a whole week and will be actually working about 6 hours everyday. So, I will have time to drive across town or a little bit out of town. Thanks, Nathaniel
Your best bet for local beers is the breweries, they'll have a smaller but more current selection. Otherwise hit up the Wine and Cheese Place in Forsyth. Also there is a new bottle shop nearby there but its name slips me...
Wine and Cheese Place is the store to hit. Assuming the conference is downtown, then go drink at Bailey's Range or The Bridge Tap House. Alpha Brewing is walkable, too. But then, also drive to all the others. 4 Hands, Civil Life, Schlafly, Perennial, Urban Chestnut & Six Row. I know I'm missing a few newer ones.
