Hello friends, Looking for some tips and suggestions for a trip I'm taking jul 11th to the 18th to st pete beach with the lady. I plan already on hitting up cycle and ccb. now I told her I'd keep the breweries at 2 for the week but I'm going to try and coax her into atleast letting me stop st green bench. I know coppertail is in Tampa as well as angry chair and back towards the gulf is 7eventh sun, Dunedin and such .. but looking for some good places that may offer these good local breweries on tap somewhere with some good food. the ale and the witch seems to be coming up a lot. but wasn't sure if there was anythjng good closer to the beach around st pete, clearwater, treasure island area. Thanks -Tom
@johnyb is right: Check that string. Restaurants with good tap lists "toward" the beach: Cajun Cafe on the Bayou. Mike's Pizza. Old Bay Cafe.
I always like stopping at Barley Mow in Largo. It's tiny, but it brews a couple of nice ones. I love their Selkie.
I would def try to hit cycle and green bench. Both are fairly close to each other, so it should be easy to do. If you don't make it to downtown st Pete, check out pegs cantina in Gulfport. Good Mexican food, and cycle brews. If you want to hit a bottle shop, sheps beer empourium in st Pete is awesome. Good luck!!
