    Today's, 10/25, Noon releases....
    ____________________________
    FULTON AND DOWNTOWN
    Falcon Smash IPA
    - Our flagship IPA. Dank hop character from dry hop of Falconer's Flight, and a proprietary blend of rotating hop varietals. Fermented with our house ale strain.

DDH Falcon Smash w/ Idaho 7 - Everyone’s IPA gets the DDH treatment with the very fruit forward and overall expressive Idaho 7 hop varietal. Idaho 7 adds impressions of deep tropical mango pineapple citrus pulp. Arguably softer than usual due to an abundance of in suspension hop oil, this one is quite plush.
Due to a less than desirable yield, we’ll have a significant amount of pre-filled crowlers ready to go at both locations at $12 per 32oz crowler

    FULTON ONLY
Pathway Pils – The latest iteration of our mainstay pilsner constructed of 100% German Pils malt with an intentional blend of only the most noble hop varietals. This pils is pulled together by a yeast strain that we’ve become quite fond of given its propensity to layer in a floral almost lavender like fermentation character over top of the lemon, hay, sweet honey straw, dry zesty soft bodied lager.

Also worth noting, and given our constant evolution and refinement, we’ve lately chosen not to purposefully clarify our lagers any further than what our lengthy conditioning period offers, which explains the slight haze in the shot above.
    $12 per 4 pack

Friday, 11/1, Can Release @ Fulton..
    _____________________________
Bright Lights 6% IPA - Our Citra and Galaxy heavy handed IPA finally makes its return in cans. Given the lack of overall availability of these two incredibly expressive varietals, this beer can be a tough one for us to produce. Adding to the anxiety of making sure we’re happy prior to dry hopping, we often find certain lots of various hops, Citra and Galaxy included, that we aren’t completely sold on from an aroma perspective. Those hops will not be utilized for dry hopping, ensuring that the aroma and flavor of our beers remains intact as we continue to crawl down this chosen path of constant refinement, very much instead of excessiveness. Impressions of bright sticky mango, leading into orange tropical passion fruit forward super soft peaches and all the sweet apricots. 6% ABV an on for onsite pours and cans to go this Friday in Fulton.
    $15 per 4 pack (1 case limit)

    Battle Creek 8% DIPA
    - our formidable 100% kettle and dry hopped Mosaic DIPA makes a return on Friday. This one presents dank orange zest, green mango, and bright citrus rind layered all over our preferred hoppy beer softness. 8% ABV forever.
    $17.50 per 4 pack

Friday, 10/8, releases ahead of this weekend's East Coast Covenant Fest. Noon @ Fulton.
Take note the Deep Dark Woods Blend 002 w/ Vanilla bottles will not be available until Saturday
    __________________________________________________
Heavy Stars 8% DIPA - With finally enough of one of the most elusive Southern Hemisphere varietals to create our 100% Galaxy DIPA, we present Heavy Stars. We don’t take choosing which varietals we plan to feature solo in any beer lightly. That decision requires that the cultivar in question can stand up on its own, and that we can source enough of it to ensure that other beers that need said hop can still be brewed. Despite the sourcing concerns, this one is worth it… Hopped considerably and only with AUS Galaxy and fermented with our house ale yeast we find tangerine, pineapple, and a mango like white grape sweet citrus character leading into apricot laden roundness.
    $18 per 4-pack

All Neon Like 6% IPA - heavy handed doses of both Galaxy and Vic Secret for impressions of saturated floral pineapple with citrus zest wrapped deep within a 6% ABV foundation. Highly drinkable and easily one of our most unique hoppy beers.
    $15 per 4 pack

Deep Dark Woods Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout Blend 002 - Our latest Deep Dark Woods Blend arrives and features a significant portion of our Imperial Stout aged in Tawny Port Barrels. We were able to source some freshly emptied Tawny Port Barrels a few months ago and have been more than impressed with the over-ripened dark fruit character they’ve been lending to the stout within their walls, which lead us to this blend.

Much in the way that we approach our mixed fermentation beers, the Deep Dark Woods series is built upon the foundation laid by the options we attempt to create for ourselves by sourcing all manner of spirit barrels alongside implementing our own process and stout recipe changes.
The base version of this barrel aged imperial stout weighs in with its massively deep, unsweetened, dark grape berry jam roast forward bright molasses, all of which gets pulled together with an inky black heavy-handed finish.
    $20 per 500ml bottle (4 bottle limit)
**Available Friday, 11/8/2019 in Fulton at noon.**

Deep Dark Woods Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout Blend 002 with Vanilla Beans -
The Vanilla Deep Dark Woods Variant features both a heavy ratio of our Imperial Stout aged in Tawny Port Barrels, and Vanilla Beans.

Given that the base barrel aged stout already weighs in with its berry jam like roast forward dark fruit laden decadence, we were excited to see what might happen with our approach to imparting vanilla character into this blend.

We found that our addition of a proprietary blend of Vanilla beans processed in house delivered ridiculous levels of sweet toasted marshmallow, deeply dark cocoa powder, and caramel laden turbinado sugary espresso roasted coffee character. Incredibly complex and designed for contemplative sipping around campfires and people…probably in that order.
    $21.50 per 500ml bottle (4 bottle limit)
**Available SATURDAY, 11/9/2019 in Fulton starting at 10AM for VIP Ticket holders. Individuals who purchase a VIP package between now and Friday, 11/8, will be able to purchase bottles of Vanilla Deep Dark Woods and accompanying glass at 10am on Saturday, 11/9.**
    - Sales of this limited bottle will be available to the general public at 12pm on Saturday 11/9.

Trying to decide if I should stop by for the Covenant Fest while in Richmond this weekend. I will be with my wife, so large lines and crowds are not ideal. What has the parking situation been like in the past and lines for pours? I don't really care about the most hyped stuff (or NC based breweries since I can get them here).

Also will the downtown location have any of TC releases for this weekend Saturday on draft or in packaged to go?

    Thanks and cheers!

Can't answer your question about past Covenant Fest but downtown should have cans of all 4 beers releasing Saturday and probably have them on draft as well. They will typically split what's left after Friday releases between both locations. Probably won't be an equal split this weekend since people are coming to Fulton for the Fest but definitely expect some package and draft to be available downtown.

I just wanted to shout out the Fulton location after stopping by on Wednesday evening before the Bob Dylan show at VSU. Great food, excellent beer and fantastic service. I've enjoyed my prior TC drinking experiences but this was an epic evening of food, drink and entertainment. Keep up the good work y'all.

    Friday, 11/22, can releases..
    _____________________________
Outlier Pale Ale - One of our favorite Pale Ale offerings that we originally piloted Downtown has graduated in a big way to 16oz cans. A hefty grist of both North American 2 Row and Flaked Rye, and a somewhat irresponsible amount of Nelson Sauvin come together for the best reasons...Admittedly, we based this one very loosely on what once was an iconic beer from way out West...

Notes of mango, bright green tropical fruit, dank white grape like citrus oil layered over top of soft but dry weighty mouthfeel from the combination of rye, yeast, and our particular style of fermentation. 5.5% ABV and $13 per 4-pack

Prism IPA - The return of one our newest IPA offering comes by the way of multiple triangle variants condensed into the strongest natural shapes… Prism was built on equal portions of Mosaic, Nelson, and El Dorado. Hopped as aggressively as our triangles beers, this one delivers mango, citrus orange oil, melon and peach. 6% ABV and $14 per 4-pack

    _______________________________________
DH Interstellar Burst (DEBUT) - Arguably one of our personal favorite in-house made DIPA’s returns with its very own DDH treatment. After dosing an immense amount of Galaxy, Citra, and El Dorado, with the assumption that the lack of beer will be worth the squeeze, we’re left with quite the beer driven sensory experience. An overtly massive hop expression of all the tropical citrus laden identifiers with our ever present softness from careful consideration of both how much, where, and when to add hops. We could dive deep into all the reasons to come and get this one, but somehow we think you guys might have figured that out on your own by now. 8% ABV
    $19 / 4-pack

Falcon Smash IPA - Our flagship IPA. Dank hop character from dry hop of Falconer's Flight, and a proprietary blend of rotating hop varietals. Fermented with our house ale strain. 7% ABV

No more wondering when the last update was on the website!
    ______________________________________________________
Over the years we have used technology to provide visibility in to what beers we are releasing and also the availability of those cans/bottles in the days following a release. With weekly releases now the norm at TC, staying on top of the availability can be challenging but we are working to solve that. We launched a can availability dashboard on our website a few years back but it was in desperate need of some love.

In the past, there have been instances when the information provided could have been more up to date and accurate. We are dedicated to making that happen and increasing the usefulness of this resource. Starting today, we have dedicated more team members at both breweries to keeping this page up to date with at least one update before 12PM each day. We have also implemented a new “Limited Quantity” flag to show beers that are in extremely low stock and may not last for more then 1-2 days. There will be a new timestamp to show the last update on the page as well. Our can availability can always be found at https://www.triplecrossing.com/cans and we look forward to making the experience better for everyone.

Last Broadcast DIPA 8% ABV - The return of LB dives deeper into newer and more varied hop combinations. Fortunately, we’ve been able to source several varieties lately then have been historically elusive. With that said enter Last Broadcast, our latest Double India Pale Ale hopped generously with Mosaic, Nelson, Citra and Galaxy. We detect floral green pineapple citrus, deepened candied grapefruit dank, and soft apricot peach character all cohesively pulled together with that softness we seek.

Will Last Broadcast last until Saturday, and if so, do they move some to the downtown location? I know it says the latter on their website, just seeking confirmation that that's what happens.

Whatever does not sell on Friday they will typically split the remainder between both spots so expect Last Broadcast to be moved downtown if it does not sell out.

The two locations are only about 3 miles apart which is probably a 10 minute drive. if you have the option and time Fulton is much bigger and a lot more parking though I do enjoy the smaller setting of the original spot from time to time.
