Not sure of others experiences but I live about 20 minutes from VA Beach and everytime I have placed an order I have received it next day or within two days.

Did you try reaching out to the brewery directly through social media or email? I would assume they are packing up shipping orders each morning (8-Noon) as they are putting together local delivery and UPS probably does daily pickups so however long it takes UPS to get it to Va Beach. but contacting them directly would get the answer you're needing. I know at least social media they are pretty quick to respond.

It’s come to our attention that a small number of Less Than Alone bottles have begun to show some signs of possible contamination. While the beer is safe to consume even with the issue, it is not what we intended.

Currently, we believe the vanilla beans to be the culprit, and are actively taking multiple measures to ensure the integrity of future bottle releases. Anecdotally, we have noticed that if the bottle has been refrigerated from the date of purchase, the beer remains intact with no off-flavors.
Obviously, we’re incredibly unhappy about it, as we’ve never and will never take the support and trust you’ve shown us for granted. So, if you’ve experienced this issue please send us an e-mail at [email protected].

Just opened a Less Than Alone that is infected. I am definitely not going to make it through the bottle as the smell/taste keeps getting stronger as the beer warms. However, I appreciate Triple Crossing taking ownership of the issue. I just emailed them, but don't really expect anything in return. I think these are just the challenges of working in the beer industry and gives me more appreciation when I have a beer that is not infected.

    Winter Jetlag is back....
    _______________________
Winter Jetlag, our barrel aged English Barleywine returns after an extended 19 month slumber deep within freshly dumped bourbon barrels and further conditioned on vanilla beans to emerge as a bourbon barrel-aged Winter style Barleywine. As our spirit barrel aging program began, we knew the base Social Jetlag recipe was destined for barrel aging. A few times per year, we brew batches of Social Jetlag and send them to bourbon barrels where they’re left to rest and absorb all the character the charred, whiskey-soaked oak has to offer.
We taste deep creme brûlée crust, liquid caramel dark raisin like toffee, and burnt turbinado sugar, all wrapped deep in a plush liquid malt sugar blanket. Offering both sustenance and warmth, this beer was built for this time of year. 12% ABV
    $22 per 500ml bottle.

*A note about our oak aged lagers, stout, and barleywine. Going forward, we’d like to urge all of our customers to store these beers at refrigeration temperature cold until opened. The reasons for this are multi-faceted, but the most important is to maintain the character of the beer as we intended upon it’s release. They’re ready to enjoy the day they come out, and given that most chemical reactions such as oxidation, staling, bacterial contamination etc. happen more quickly at room temperature, than at refrigeration temp, you can see why we’d prefer our beers be stored cold, and we hope you will too.

*ALL LOCAL DELIVERY ORDERS PLACED TODAY, 12/14, WILL BE DELIVERED WEDNESDAY.*

It's still available for pick-up from both locations and local delivery from Fulton. Shipping allotment sold out pretty quick.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm in NOVA so it would still be a trek. 3-4 years ago, maybe I am more tempted to make the trek. In 2020, it's unlikely.
