At Triple Crossing now. Green Dreams is off the hook good. The pizza is pretty good too, certainly made my wofe and daughter happy.

Not for long, they have been putting out quality IPA lately. Perhaps if the Veil were not in town they would be getting more notice.

    Next Lockout Series announced.
    ____________________________________________
The next entrant to the Lockout DIPA series is Sanctuary DIPA. This beer exclusively features Citra and Mosaic. Per usual, we did not hold back and have generously have hit this beer with the hop combo listed. A huge pineapple nose is already apparent and will certainly get bigger with the pending dry hops. Sanctuary will be canned (shooting for 120 cases) and released Friday, 2/17 at noon in Fulton.

Was psyched to get the last couple 4-packs of Green Dreams today at Fulton after making the trip up from NC. Tried some on tap and it is utterly fantastic. Very "green" and totally unique. Though I've never had TH Green, from what I've read it's in the same vein.

I'd buy their cans just for the 'Halo' references, honestly.

finally went to Fulton over the weekend (which is sad because it's only a 10 minute walk from the house) and enjoyed some Sanctuary, but that Trace Amounts! such an easy drinker - will be perfect in the hot summer

Anyone who happens to be heading to The Veil today for release, TCB still has Sanctuary DIPA cans at both locations as of yesterday. I am surprised by this so definitely make the detour if you have the time. Going into this past Saturday they had roughly 50 cases left from Friday's release that got split between both locations. I stopped Downtown just a few minutes after opening on Sat and there was no one (literally other than 2 staff) there. I would have expected a few people that could not make it Friday to be waiting to snag cans up and definitely not for them to last the weekend. Guess there are some who are still sleeping on them. I have not yet cracked open my first can, still battling the plague that's going around, but very excited to have one later this week (hopefully).

It's very good, not quite as blown away as Battle Creek for me, but still excellent, I probably should have gotten more than a 4pack.

haven't had Battle Creek but thought Sanctuary was vastly better than Ascension and Green Dreams. still prefer Clever Girl to the ones I've had from them.

Preferred Ascension and Green Dreams to it by a bit. But we rarely agree on beer ratings, unless it's HF

I tried the special dry hopped Sanctuary they had on tap at Fulton on Sunday. Got a few 4packs of the regular Sanctuary to go. Hopefully it is as good as the one on tap which was excellent. I hope they stay under the radar. I like being able to buy great beer without standing in lines.

Sanctuary is tasty, but I thought this past batch of Green Dreams was phenomenal. What didn't you guys like about GD? I thought it was the best beer I had in Richmond this past weekend, including all the Veil and Answer offerings (although Raindropz and Alternative Hops were close).

I only had it from the can the day it was released.
imo, the alcohol burn was too present and I got a really weird "ripeness" from the hops. but I'm probably outside the local RVA scene palate as I find myself wanting to drink less and less 8-10+% beers lately

Gotcha! That is strange, because the draft I had was so clean and so smooth for 8%. I'm pretty sure it was kegged 3ish weeks ago though, so maybe it cooled off a bit.

I'm with you though. More 5-7% IPAs please!

Anyone have any idea how many cans of sanctuary are still available from the 50 cases they posted on Saturday?
