March 10th could be interesting. One of the releases is a DIPA collab with The Answer - The boys are back at it again! TCB and The Answer are bringing you a new DIPA - Real Recognize Real. This bad boy is hopped with Citra, Mosaic, and El Dorado!

Am I the only one who thought the mango-passion fruit berliner they did was awesome? I'm amazed that's still available in cans, especially with all the awesome weather we've been having.

I only had time to try the Clever Girl and Falcon Smash today. Falcon Smash was good but nothing special. Clever Girl I thought was great, I picked up 2 crowlers of it.

I'd really like to see what Triple Crossing does with Lupulin Powder. I've been impressed by how different the various beers I've had with it have been so far. I feel like Trill uses it for extra bittering and "pow", Veil used it to see how juicy they could get it, and others have been in between (Virginia Beer Co for instance).

Are these Friday at noon releases pretty low key? I have to catch a flight down to Tampa for Huna on Friday and was hoping to run in and out right at opening.

You should be able to get in and out pretty quick if I had to guess.

Compared to a Veil release? Much more low key. The new space also helps out a lot with parking and lines. Though I will say I have not been at their doors when they open on a Friday so I don't know about initial lines or how well they handle a rush.

Im headed up to Richmond 3/18 and wanted to get Sanctuary. Can you get crowlers of it if cans arent available. Any other IPAs from TC I should be on the look out for (already covered for this fridays release). TIA.

Thanks I figured it would be pretty easy to get in and out, but just wanted to check.

Sanctuary is long gone in cans. Pretty sure draft is no more as well. They do a great just updating their website of what's available in cans so I would check that when you head up. You could probably snag some with a ISO/FT from someone holding onto a few cans.

Yes, compared to a Veil release. Just so it is clear, Friday releases are only at Fulton.

I was there about 30 minutes after open the Friday before New Years (Nectar and Knife/Ascension). Lines at Veil had been nutty for apparently no reason other than the holidays and while there was a crowd at Triple Crossing, it wasn't a stupid line. Maybe 10 people in front of me when I got there, 10-15 behind me when I left. Talked to some folks from NoVa who came down for that and Answer's release that day so some people def travel for it. People were buying cases at a time and there was hardly a seat in the taproom, but I was out in about 10 minutes. They were moving a bit slower than Veil for sure, and it was a system of "pay here, go pack up your 4 packs from the cooler over there."

Just passing all that on to say if you have to get there Friday, I'd probably go 30+ minutes after opening if possible. Otherwise what's been really nice is all these releases, even the Lockout series, have been lasting at least a few days at both locations.

I have been there for two Friday releases this year at noon. No lines at either, just a few people there. It was like going in on any other day.

Will be visiting Richmond end of next month, definitely making a stop at Triple Crossing. Couple of questions:

Should I visit both locations or will one do the trick? How often do they release cans? (may have to set up an IP trade if no release scheduled the days am in town....4/27 to 4/30)
