I'm pretty sure Tampa Bay has a hockey team too... which makes Dallas a whole lot more defensible, at least weather-wise.

No professional hockey team in WI.

Sorry for the "get off my lawn" tone (I'm having multiple coffee issues this morning), but in my mind, nothing makes hockey defensible in warm weather cities. It's just silly.

Now, this is what I'm saying! One of the air conditioner cities needs to give up their NHL team and send it to Milwaukie or Green Bay.

So, you don't realize that LA, Phoenix, Miami, Nashville, and Charlotte all have NHL teams too? Hell, even Columbus has one, which makes the lack of one in Milwaukee even more of a head scratcher. I mean, Cincinnati and Cleveland don't get teams, but Cbus does?

Oh, I know about them. I just didn't know Dallas had poached theirs from Minnesota, and I was just venting about the general ridiculousness of having a hockey team that could be wiped out by an electricity blackout. Just behaving curmudgeonly this AM.

Getting back on track: In beer hint news, the state my target is in is older than the state I live in.

Let me make it clear that if push came to shove I wouldn't defend anything hockey-related. haha.

Since we're not on the NW forum, I thought people might be not as used to massive digressions the way we are.

Being from like the third youngest state, I guess I won't be getting WA beers from you. Maybe @beertunes though.

Didn't we go through this last time too? I thought we decided that rivers count. NM touches the Rio Grande, so you might still have hope.

I think you might be the only one thus affected (It wasn't meant to be much of a hint. Sorry - poor planning for such an early hint). Seriously, did Congress forget to notice NM Territory for decades?

I will be unavailable, everyone. Very sad to say it. The first two were a blast!

The Rio Grande qualifies as a major body of water in my book

Since generally Americans' reputation for geographical excellence continues today, the same thing could happen again. One of these days, @ONovoMexicano could look out the window and see a wall around New Mexico that says "TRUMP."*

*This post not intended to be political, merely absurd.

My thoughts as well. @ONovoMexicano could well still be in the running. Maybe me too, since the Columbia is in WA and a portion of it is a state border as well.

I know you're 300 miles away, but Washington does touch the Pacific ocean, which might be considered a major body of water.:sunglasses::grimacing:

Spoiler alert: While my target may receive beers from anywhere in Washington state and the PNW in general, there will definitely be beers from a certain N.Idaho brewery that @beertunes has historically been a cheerleader for.
