@beatjunkee has expressed some interest, he's just not sure how it works. I told him to check NBS tomorrow, and to post any other questions here.

@beatjunkee (and any one else in his boat) there is no cap on number of participants, the more the merrier.

With two dozen trades under your belt you're clearly no noob when it comes to shopping for, packing up, and shipping a box; the difference between trading and this is that you have no idea what you're getting, pick what you send rather than be asked for something, and have a thousand times more fun.

Participating in giving hints as to who you're sending to, and posting a photo of your haul as thanks to your sender, are also requisite. If you can handle all of that, you'll do just fine.

cool. yea, I just wasn't sure of how the NBS-aspect comes in. ..and the blind-receipt is what drew me in hehe.
count me in. is there a date when targets are assigned? shipping window?

The NBS participation thing is more @beertunes' territory, but I think for Round 1, being a regular NBS participant was required (myself excluded). Round 2 that seemed to be a bit more flexible, and I'd imagine in Round 3 it would be more relaxed yet again. If that's the case, participation would require being an NBS participant OR having an established trading history, but not necessarily both.

    As for dates:

I'll be doing last call for entrants on NBS today, and will start on pairings tomorrow. Once I make rough draft, I send it over Lehigh who cross-checks. It'll be happening quickly.

Now that I am paying attention on how to get in, I am following through. I'm here to help you get to 30.

I will also say, seconding the thought if it was mentioned above, that another big part of the fun is giving hints and responding to hints, so please feel free to be active on the hint thread (which I understand this will become). You get to mess with your fellow BAs and they get to be frustrated at trying to guess their sender (as do you).

If need be and you need a player so there's no odd man out, I can play, but count me as on the bench unless need arises

Check reply 11 in this thread. Basically a 66-72oz minimum, stuff that is NBS eligible for your target, walez/rarez ok, not required.

There's no such thing as an "odd man out" since sender/target pairings are a big circle, not matched pairs. We'd love to have you, but if it's not a good time I'll leave you out.

Timing on this sucks for me, so I'll have to decline, I thought it had to be in multiples of 2, next round for sure

If I could be paired with someone that has access to NE hoppy beers that would be cool. Just saying.

I already made myself a list of some of the beer I will be sending! Pair me with someone who likes sour styles if possible.
