Potentially dumb question: Are we shipping to the same person that is shipping to us, or is it a chain?

You are supposed to use this thread to hint where your package is going, so the recipient can figure out who you are. Minimum volume is 66-72 ounces, but any amount is fair game. Shipping deadline of March 31st so that they can have the beer well before a NBS of April 10th to review live. Local breweries would probably be best, just because it would be easier to get beer your target has never had before. But any brewery would be fine, use http://www.seekabrew.com/ for help to find what breweries are available where.

All BIFs are a chain of shipping so that noone but the organizers know who is going where, until we give out the hints for them to figure it out.

I am shipping east. My target does not have a very expansive wants list, so I am going to have to use my own recommendations.

 

@Ri0 let's start with timeline, see below:

Even at 12oz, 8 bottles is more than the minimum; you'll be just fine there, and there really isn't a maximum. With that said, this is not designed to be a porch-decimating BIF either so everyone should feel assured that in the realm of the minimum to 2 or 3 times the minimum is where the majority of boxes will be.

Typically hints are given throughout, starting very vague "Shipping East" for example and getting more specific as the shipping window approaches. Whether you give enough hints to give yourself away, or not, is up to you; some senders like it to be a bit of a surprise, others care about that less.

As for what you send, in THIS BIF specifically the only real requirement is that the beer be something your target hasn't had before. In ALL BIFs, being beer you would happy to receive is understood to be a default requirement (generally there's a minimum rating of 85 or 90 to ensure this, we may have left that detail out, but if you go by the golden rule you'll be ok).

As for whether or not the beer is local, the bigger issue is that it is NOT local/locally available to your target (use seekabrew.com to confirm). With that said, YES, if you can send beers local to you, that is preferable; admittedly this is an easier task for Californians than our Alabama participant, so this is of course flexible.

I am shipping East (surprise, surprise) to a BA with no numbers in their username.

 

I'm shipping to middle of the country where this particular BA may have had em all. And I think they work Sundays. As I do...

(Very Vague) Hint #1: My target likes beer and lives in the continental USofA.

 

So none of you are my shipper. You guys may have started to specific. haha

 

I'm shipping west again but not too far west. Right into the heart of the country or something like that.

 

I'm eliminating people left and right here and it's just day one. Only 25 of yas left if we have 30 total or 27 if we are 32.
