Triptych Brewing

god I hope some makes it into the city. the last time binny's grand had dank meme i ended up buying like five four packs.

 

yea they def make good stuff, my buddy already got a 4 pack of each from I&G we are gonna split

 

Is Triptych moving, or just opening an additional place? Their old location was great. Leave my parent's place, head west on county road 1400 N which turns into Windsor, stop at Friar Tucks, Triptych, then north to Binnys before heading back to Downers Grove.

 

We expanded into a second building that is located directly across the street. All beer making has been moved over to the new building where there is a second taproom for special events, tour hospitality, etc. We're hoping to start remodeling the old taproom soon so that this winter we can accommodate more people and more events there as well. Some sour beer production and packaging will still happen at the old brewery too. But right now a big part of it where the old equipment was is a sad shell, but we'll fix that soon!

 

You guys still sending good supply of cans to Peoria? Haven’t seen as many cans the last month or so....maybe they’re just selling too quickly and I’m missing them. Regardless, congrats on the new facility - looking forward to checking it out next time I’m coming through chambana

 

We've never sent our distributor more than we are sending now, but of course we don't have absolute control over where the cans go once they get them. This week I'll get August's report on where everything went and maybe I can update you at that point. It is a persistent complaint we receive from customers in Peoria and Bloomington but we suspect the cans are just moving a little faster than usual.

 

Was able to stop at Triptych for the first time today after watching a bad Illinois football team somehow win. Got to meet @3xAnthony as well! Great place and I’m stocked up on Wake Up Neo which is a top 5 beer from last year for me.

 

True story, he's the second BA'er to visit #theMemery that I know of, the first was @flat_lander.

 

Pretty awesome place. Can’t wait to see Neo up north more often!

I am big fan of Triptych. From the help of Virgil i was able to get Triptych to supply my wedding with a 1/2 barrel of PNLS (Pretty Nice Little Saturday). Lots of guests were able to try our favorite local Brew. Not much left after the wedding but enough that we brought it home to finish her off. My wife and I bought this kegerator solely to finish this keg off and to buy sixtels of our favorite brews once its done. We weren't going to let it go to waste. We especially love going on Thrusdays when Dragon Fire Pizza Truck is there (DFP was also serving up late night pizzas at our wedding for our guests). Triptych goes above and beyond for their customers and we will be loyal fans for life! I have Dank Meme cans in the fridge at all times. I have a 4 pack of Virgil that i need to drink soon... not sure why i I'm holding out on to it lol its so good. Also have some wizard.

 

I have not tried Fleeting Cashmere yet. Sounds delicious. A few ive been wanting to try (and may have missed out on) Hawaiian Shirt Day, #dammitJosh and Pillow Fight. Ive been friends with Virgil on Facebook for a while. Hes been a good friend to us downtown and abroad serving us some good brews over the years. So it was only natural he post on facebook as soon it/he was available haha.

 

Got my tap handle tonight! Plus I was able to try the hefe #4 which was outstanding! Couldn’t of asked for a better end to the work week. Thanks!

Any word on the AJs release for this year?

 

I’m pretty sure that was brought up... yesterday was my bday so there was a lot more drinking last night. If I remember correctly It will be soon (which I know isn’t a good answer). If you Facebook messenger Triptych I’m sure they will respond
