Looks like a decent scale...for water additions...I'm sure it's accurate, but will it be practical for weighing hops also?

I do 5 gallon batches. 400 grams is about 14 ounces right? I need the scale to way something along the lines of 0.7 ounces of magnum hops.

I just might just have to pick that up if it works as advertised, down to .1g would definitely make my water additions less eyebally. Yes 400g is slightly over 14 oz

For purists this might not cut it, but for water additions I usually just use 5 grams=1 tsp and 15 grams=1 tablespoon

I did that method for my last batch but the scale will make me fell more like science

If weighing only mineral additions to water then it looks fine but looks to be a bit small for weighing out hops from bulk purchases or dme for starters.

That works for gypsum, other salts, not so much.

yes, the CaCl is a little fluffier, so I'm liberal with my teaspoons...and the Epsom salts are just a pinch anyway
