any local's had the chance to try this? i tried it for the first time last night and had to go down and get a growler today..honestly its one of, if not the best IIPA's in the region..obviously its just my opinion but i think it could go toe to toe with any FFF IIPA..pretty pricey for the growler($32 flat) but i found it to be worth every penny

I thought it was great as well. I almost got a growler, but couldn't quite get myself to drop the coin on one.

Have fallen in love with Headsplitter. I keep finding myself drifting over to the Brewery or Triton Tap to get some more. I cannot recommend this one enough.

I'm not up to speed on Indy growler laws. Will Triton fill other growlers? If yes I will have my family stop by and get some of this.

Call first, I don't think they're filling growlers on this one - last night it was 1/2 pint pours only for headsplitter

Your Pops could go and drink one while you FaceTime and he could tell you how awesome it is.

maybe even $32 because i remember thinking "if a half growler is $16 then a full must be a few bucks cheaper". and it wasnt..was a little disappointed with triton on this one...that is really steep i dont care how much it cost you to make it...i know it cost them a lot to brew because she made the comment "this is the most expensive beer we have ever brewed"..anyway.

My dad has a 64 but do they offer 32's? are they swingtops? the 64's I know are screwtops.

Isn't it like $6.50 for an 8oz pour? I've wanted to try it, but Triton's ridiculous pricing throws me off from their specialty beers

8$ bucks per pint for to-go beer.... HFS, it had better be better than Heady at that price

Headsplitter is decent, definitely not worth that growler price though. Want some good IPAs, come to People's in Lafayette. Moundbuilder, BIP, Hopkilla and Space Cowboy are the shit IMO.

I second recommending People's Brewing Company. I think Space Cowboy is a highly underrated Galaxy hopped double IPA. They still have it on tap at Scotty's in West Lafayette.

Had the headsplitter at the brewery. It's definitely awesome. I wanted to take a growler home but no way I was paying $32. Pretty outrageous imo. I'll third the recommendation for People's. You can get growlers of Hop Killa on wednesdays for I think $12? Great deal.
