I’m happy about the 12oz cans, solid beer.

Tröegs actually has a nice mix of styles IMO. And I’m surprised it took this long for them to have a year round Double IPA.

I don’t get troegs, wish I did, so I can’t comment on this particular beer but sometimes beers like a dipa are better as a seasonal. Personally I don’t buy doubles a lot and they are impacted by age considerably. As long as it can stay relatively fresh sounds like a win. Enjoy.

My thoughts also. They have many core beers and seasonals on the shelves and this is going to crowd the landscape further...unless their plan is to cut some of the seaosnal DIPAs which wouldn't be a bad move, as a few are pretty similar.

It's good, but still like Nimble Giant better.

If you're an IPA hound Troegs has an excellent variety 12 pack, cheap at $20 (cheap by PA standards, anyway): 3 IPAs including Hop Horizon and Nugget Nectar.

Same here. But like Nugget Nectar, I think they do better financially by creating the urgency to get it since it’s once a year.

And I’m assuming that LolliHop, although good, did not have the sales Nimble Giant did in the past.

I had to dip into my past reviews to see when the last time I had this beer was and what I thought about it and it was in 2020 and overall it was a meh for me. I am seeing singles on shelves already so I will probably revisit to see what my thoughts are now but I imagine it will be much of the same.
