    From Troeg's Facebook page today:
    "Get your first squeeze of our new Nugget Nectar 12oz. cans! Coming January 2016."

    I'll re-iterate my thumbs-down on the new can design. Doesn't stand out like the bold orange cans did.

    As far as I'm concerned, as long as the beer is the same, the cans could be white with black lettering. I'm only attracted to bright labels on new, untried beers.

    I like the can colors. Hope the batches are all good. Tries bottles smear dates quite easy.

    New Troegs packages are showing up all over right now. They look better up close then online

    I am not a fan of the label art but I am a BIG fan of the format: 12 ounce cans. This is feakin' AWESOME!!

    I suspect that he is referring to the ability of canned beer to maintain a longer shelf life assuming a low TPO (Total Packaged Oxygen) value at packaging.

    Maybe, although it was canned last year too. But it was 16 oz cans. I wonder why the change

    Some people in the Facebook thread speculated the change to 12 oz cans is due to a supply shortage in 16 oz cans.

    If I can easily cop 12pks of NN this is good.

    I did think the 16oz cans looked good last year but in the long run do not care.

    Kinda digging the new look of the black can. Always enjoy this beer, wonder which of my friends will make a short 1 hour drive to PA to grab Freshies in Jan?
