Tröegs Nugget Nectar 2023/2024 Release

I had a draft tonight at my local ski resort, I agree, very nice beer.

 

I wasn’t going to buy Nugget Nectar due to my disappointment from last year, but while shopping today I came face to face with a stack of 6 packs and I caved.

I believe I paid $13.99 for a 6 pack of cans. For those keeping track, best by date of 4/19/24.
The nose is muted as many have said with a very nice sweet orange/ citrus on the palate. There is a decent bitterness on the end which was a pleasant surprise.

It may just be my palate tonight but it reminds me of Columbus Brewings Bohdi with more of a bite.
I am glad I picked it up this year.

 

Couldn’t find Double NN anywhere last year, but this year a number of places near me have it.

It’s very good— tasting about like I’d imagined an amped up version of NN would. And hey, it has some hop aroma to it!

I've been seeing DNN just about everywhere and Wegmans had singles in the 16 oz singles section the last time I was there too.

Double Nugget Nectar very good this year but I was surprised it’s clear, because it was cloudy when I had it before. I double checked with my side by side pic I took with regular NN.
