    What has been "lacking" in the canned versions?

    Have the batches in bottles always been 'good' for you?

    I find NN to be uneven from year-to-year and batch-to-batch. Sometimes the flavor really pops, others times it feels muted.

    As for cans, I have found that NN from a can seems thinner to me and the bitterness on the finish seems more muted.

    That's based upon several years of side-by-side bottle v can tasting.

    I agree with this. I always buy the bottles, they just taste better.

    Same thing with Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

    Hunterdons website was updated and looks quite different but was able to just figure out…we are up this week NJ :beers:

    For me can/bottle preference varies from beer to beer. I can't make much sense of it. I just know what I like.

    Double NN is starting to pop up on draft in the Philly area and Troegs said that we will be seeing the cans "soon".

    $26 and change plus tax, so about $28 for a 12 pack at my go to shop. They seem to also have the best prices in town.

    Continued walking by the 12 packs and picked up some good stuff instead.

    IIRC, another place charged $30+ after tax for a 12 pack last year . . .

    What about NA? I do pick things up if I think they won’t be around long.

    Anything that’s not NN. Multiple breweries have IPAs for around $10-12 a 4 or 6 pack.

    Don’t get me wrong, I love Tröegs. Look at my pic. But, NN is not worth what they’re asking for IMO.

    I've bought it two places now. First place was $24.50 but they hike everything way the hell up. Second place is usually cheapest around for 12 packs or cases (though they like to gouge on singles).

    The discrepancy between the $24.50 over charging place and $21.50 cheap place is in line with other brands so I would definitely not say its a mistake.

    Still too much for this beer IMO.
