Yes, their social media post today indicates that today was the first day of release:

Just cracked a can: BB 5/09/2023. It's definitely a good batch, and I'm enjoying it.

I don't think I'll ever experience it like I did years ago, though-- the smell was pure, fresh hops, and it blew me away. I think that's on me, and a "lupulin threshold shift".

Think last year was the first year it was available outside the brewery. It was pretty difficult to find and places that got it sold out quickly at least around me.

I’m talking about the brewery only release the first year. Thinking people were getting cases and they ran out immediately.

$17.99 4x16 at the brewery and $16.50 for a 32oz crowler. Why are you buying the crowler?

Guessing this will be $20 in the wild here, I won’t be looking for it at that price. I can get Heady for less.

    Enjoy

Oh wow yeah pass at that price and I will be on the lookout for a single.

Singles are available at Troegs, it was $5 or $6. Too lazy to look again.

    $5 wouldn’t be a bad price for a single.

Wegmans breaks down many of their 16 oz cans for that mixed section and if DNN makes it in there that will be $5 a can.

    Are you a betting man?

What do you think the chances are of Wegmans breaking down a four-pack to singles for an "extremely limited" brand of beer?

    Cheers!

P.S. I hope that nobody from my local Wegmans participates on BA. :flushed:

It depends on how much they get, who is working that day and may not know any better...I have seen some wild things in the singles section at some of these stores over the years.

You ain’t lying about that. I’ve seen some crazy beers in the mix a 6er for $12. One of them was Sunday Morning Stout.

I'm on the hunt for Double NN after trying Double Blizzard of Hops around Xmas. Regular Blizzard is pretty underwhelming IMHO, but I loved the double. Not sure if Double NN will make it as far as DC, though...

I picked some up yesterday - cans, BB 05/03. It's vbery good. |Not maybe as bright a hop presense as it used to be (remember when NN was the most anticipated release of the year?)
but still better than the past couple years.

I just grabbed some DNN at Wegmans at KOP and they were $15.99 for a 4-pack. Not a huge quantity overall. Also they were not in the fridge which kind of annoyed me.
