Troeg's in NC

    They had an event for Raleigh Beer Week and said on Twitter that we should see stuff on the shelf this week in the Triangle, Triad, and Charlotte (not sure about Asheville). I'm excited. Hope to swing by Good Bottle on Thursday here in CLT.

    Sounds like Perpetual IPA and their Anthology 12 pack for starters - not sure what else. The pack includes 3 Pale Ale, 3 Perpetual IPA, 3 Dreamweaver Wheat, and 3 Troegenator Doppelbock. Their new fall seasonal, Hop Knife, should be selling, too, which I'm excited to try.

    Sounds like their intro to NC will be a lot like GLBC's, so I'm hoping we see some of the more limited stuff. Flying Mouflan is great.

    I tried Hop Knife and Naked Elf yesterday at Busy Bee, both were excellent. I'll be snagging one of the 12 packs as soon as they show up.

    Looks like theyre rolling out with draft first. And Hop Knife is incredible. Leaps and bounds ahead of Hop Back.

    I was in Maryland last week for work and had an opportunity to try the Hop Knife and thought it was quite good. Definitely a beer that I am looking forward to being available in my area

    The Stag's Head in Raleigh will be having a Troeg's launch event Friday September 12th, starting at 6pm; DreamWeaver Wheat, Perpetual IPA, and Troegenator Double Bock, and Hop Knife Harvest Ale on draft, all but DreamWeaver in package; would love to see some BAs there. *

    Thanks for sharing that. Up until recently, Bestway was doing a great job using Twitter and beermenus but they have used neither since 8/13. Not sure what is going on there behind the scenes though they have lost some business from me as I no longer know what is in stock.

    Ive never had the chance to try any of their beer but always heard good things and they have good ratings. Really amped for that hop knife, hop back, and perpetual. Also really hope we get Nugget Nectar in spring.
