Troeg's in NC

    Oh I have no doubt about that, I get it fresh from NJ every year, and it's good don't get me wrong, but it's far from an earthshaking beer drinking experience.

    Sipping on a Hop Knife right now, wow this is pretty good stuff. Very fruity, nicely bitter finishes a bit dry.

    Ha, me too. Very solid, crushable pale ale at 6.2%. Great tropical nose.

    That describes Hopslam for me as well... And yet the earth does shake for it...

    Me too, what is brewed now isn't what I loved many years ago, my palate probably shifted a bit, but it didn't shift that much, it's just different. It went from a wow, to an it's an ok beer.
