Hey BA's, I was just drinking a Java Head which I have had many times, only I noticed on the bottle it said 11% abv? I always remembered it being 7.5%, it is listed on BA 7.5% and on Troegs website 7.5%. Has the abv changed or what? Any info would be great Thanks!

I always thought it was 7.5% as well. Did it taste any differently?

No not really, pretty much just like I was used to? I have 2 other bottles that I checked and both are 11%.

I'd guess that at error on the label is more likely than 50% increase in ABV.

We had an error in the label printing process - beer is the same. We caught it after a handful of cases went to market. Sorry for the confusion

    Cheers!

Thank you for the response I appreciate that. I'm surprised I even noticed, I poured it into my glass and it just caught my eye.
