    Yup. If you assume each tier is marking up 30% on a 4-pack retailing for $12, then Troeg's might be selling to the wholesaler distributors at $7? 1/2 to 1/3 of what the direct sale breweries are making off a similar beer.

    I have a 4 pack in my basement - bought it at the reasonable long island price of 14 and change after tax...i am looking forward to drinking it as I need a change from the juice bomb NEIPA's....

    I paid $10.99 the first year it came out. It was good but not a beer I have wanted to try again.

    I used to pay $9.99 for shape of hops and I now see it at $10.99 and up all the time.

    As the prices go up and up I just chuckle and walk by.

    What are these breweries thinking? An insane amount of competition from just a few years ago. Yeah, let's RAISE prices!

    In the Philly burbs, they see suckers waiting in line for several hours for the privilege to pay $25 for a 4 pack of beer. So they keep raising prices. And the more the trendy breweries raise their prices, the "normal" breweries can also raise their prices a few bucks and still seem reasonable.

    Pretty soon the only IPA you'll buy is Lionshead IPA for $18/case.

    Never had it. Any good?

    Just bought Deschutes inversion IPA for $15 so $18 is a bit much for lions head.
