A More Perfect Union is in my opinion one the (maybe the?) most interesting beer Troon has put out. Really captures the vibe of a warm summer night, drinking and grilling on the deck, with a few tiki torches burning kinda thing.

Agree 100% I've tried to compare Union to another beer but nothing comes to mind. I really, really enjoyed it!

only because I don't like it when this thread moves to pg. 2...

semi-update via Troon's Instagram account: "A couple of fun things waiting at the end of the rainbow for you guys this weekend"

i sure hope it's beer! I have no more capacity for gold.

Assuming Kane is releasing something new in cans tomorrow, which would you all suggest hitting first: Troon or Kane?

    Im leaning Troon.

If Kane is releasing something at noon, you are at the mercy of showing up there at 3 PM and not getting the "special release". I'm sure you'll be able to score Head High, Sneakbox, Overhead though...

It also depends on where you are staying and amount of time it'll take you to drive from "home base" to the first brewery.

Thanks. Planning to be at Troon right at open (noon), get some growlers and be out. Should be able to make it to Kane by 2pm at the latest(?).

You might be fine depending on the can being released tomorrow. Last week for Indicators, the only long line was right at opening. After 1 PM or so, you could just walk right up until it sold out.

Problem might be that it's going to rain tomorrow, so there'll be less people at the beaches and such, and probably more people at the brewery.

Has Troon sold out of beer by mid-day Saturday after releasing on Friday? Still unclear if A More Perfect Union lasted...

They've never sold out mid-day Saturday after releasing on a Friday. Typically they'll last through the first weekend.

Could any give me a rough idea of how much a 64oz growler of one of their beers would cost?

    Typically between $18-20.

Soul Trap brings out another hop. Sure galaxy, but that smooth, creamy presence is just too distinguishable

Comma Crisis might be my favorite beer of theirs. Smyrna wife and I blew through two 32oz growlers during dinner. I might have to swing by tomorrow for more. Between Troon and Conclave, I'm convinced the best ipas in NJ are within a 25 drive from me.
